"Can you truthfully tell me there's any trust? Not forgiveness. Trust."
Hunched in the shrubs I'm watching the house closely. Assured Rufus and Jo have barricaded themselves inside with Sam. I admit that they've chosen a prime spot. A porch to provide an external barrier between here and the door with the two stories it's provided excellent vantage points. The only downside I don't believe to be thought through is the trees. It provides us better cover to sneak closer and get a better view of what's inside.
"Thoughts?"
"I think if you try breaching those top windows you're going to be leaving without your limbs", I mention quietly to Dean, pointing out the small grey fixtures on the window "You would only see them if you knew what to look for."
"Pipe bombs", Dean mutters astonished, "You're telling me Rufus rigged the place to blow?"
"Demons are easier to hunt without their legs or arms", I shrug back "Simple math."
"And the bottom story?"
"Can only see one body so I would presume they're patrolling in a circle. Watching for any approach", I mention to Ellen, "Rufus is smart. Considering Jo's inexperience, I would say Rufus is running the show inside."
Nodding along, Ellen extends a thoughtful look towards the white picket home "Get Rufus to see the light and we get him to call off the show?"
Tilting my head, I rephrase "I would say it's our best bet."
