Chapter 10: who are your parents?

What is he thinking doing another blood test. It took ages to get a Keith's blood last time. He really does not like needles. And there is no way of getting his blood. Poor kit. Something must have happened to make him afraid of needles. I guess I'll have to wait till he can talk again, to find out the truth.

"I'm here get Keith and Shiro in now!!" He shouts as I rush out to get them both. When I was getting them I scared Keith a little and he was now whining as I try to calm him before he gets to the infirmary. "Shhhshh it's ok Kit your ok." Once back at the infirmary I begin to prep the needles. Suddenly I hear a more louder distressed call. This one shook me more then the one made when they first came here. It was of nothing but pure horror and fear. Suddenly Ulaz burst through the room grabbing Keith and running. Kolvian coming in moments later "what happened." "I... scared Keith and it caused a grab and flight response from Ulaz..." I say quietly. His eyes widen "we need to find him before he goes feral. "All blades attention, Ulaz is currently in grab and flight zone... I need all of you to look for him and one of our Kits' Keith. They are both probably scared so keep that in mind... over!!!" Kolvian shouts over the cons. Damn it how did I not get here on time. "Get some blood from Shiro before I get back!!" Kolvian said

*-Ulaz-*
I was walking down the hall when I heard Keith. I didn't even look or listen where it came from I just ran and when I got to the room I grabbed a Keith and ran to the Pack nest to try and calm him. "Shhhshhh your safe... I've got you." I pull him close as he held onto my tail for his dear life. Nooo poor baby whoever hurt him will PAY!!! once in the nest i lay down whilst pulling him close to me. "your safe now..." after a while th Kit had fallen asleep. suddenly a bang rung trough the room as someone slamed the door open. "ULAZ!!" i began to growl at the person in front of me. "why are you growling? i wasnt hurting Keith" what a lie "did you hear the noise he made... he was terrified... what were you trying to do to him!!" why am i asking him that... i already know what "we are trying to find out who his parents are!!" he shouts... causing me to growl again "Kolvian you just making it worse..." someone who is entering the nest room said. however i dont feel threatned by the tone she was using so i let her come close. she walked towards me and began to strokemy head, calming me down. wait "Kolvian?" he looks towards me "i-im sorry" he looks at me and shakes his head whilst chuckling. he then walks to me and begins rubbing my back "its ok Ulaz i see why you were scared for the kit, having only just become a Majorni yourself (forgot what i put for after a Kit on the age in my last story so im just rolling with it and the age for a Majorni ranges from 25-40 and in this story Ulaz is only 29 so yh im gonna roll with that:) how about we take some of Keiths blood together?" i shook my head "He is scared of needles!!" i accidently shout causing Kolvian to jump a little "sorry" he shakes his head picking both me and the Kit up. "i know its scary but we can get through this as a team right"

i slowly nod my head not knowing what he meant. before i could do anything to get out of his arms he zooms out of the room towards the infirmary. "i have a plan... how about when we are taking Keiths blood we give you your monthly shot so he sees the needle wont harm him in any way?" i nod my head dreading the needle myslef... i hate needles as well, but i have to be strong for Keith "then we have a plan"

*-Keith-*

as i wake up i can feel something fluffy wrapped around my left arm. i look up to find it was Ulaz's tail. i put my hand on it and then snuggled up to it. "someones awake" i hear a few chuckles with the statement ad i nod my head "hey Kit, we were wondering if it would make it any easier i Ulaz had a needle at the same time as yours?" i am so scared of needles but if Ulaz was getting one with me, i think i can work through it... he is going through the same pain as me right? i slowly nod my head causing Ulaz to relax into my arms "thank Zarkon, im not doing it by myself..." "i said that outloud"Ulaz says meaking both me and Kolvian giggle. as we aproach the infirmary Ulaz grows closer to me. "it is ok Ulaz... i'm here" i say obviously knowing he wont understand me. "i know i just don't like needles" this makes me jump "you understand me?" he nods his head "i'm not that much older than you... you know"

ive got to tell Shiro when i go see him. "Keith!!" hear someone yell "Shiro!!" i shout as i am put down on a bed i want to see him. he looked like he had been crying "are you ok?" he smiles and nods his head as he smiles "don't worry Kit it wasn't the needle that made him cry but what happened with you and Ulaz" i upset him? before i had noticed i began to cry... quickly turning into wails. "i'm sorry.. i...ry" "Its ok we didn't mean to scare him and think the Kit know that..."wait... Ulaz you can understand Keith?" he nods his head "why did i foget the fact you two aren't much younger than w=each other he laughs at himself" he then walks close and prepares the needle "hey it wont hurt trust me... it will be over before you know it"

it was just as he said i barely even felt it and i had stopped crying because i knew that Shiro was ok and not sad anymore.

Kolvian looks at me and smiles "who... are your parents?" i could tell it was a retorical question so i just smiled and giggled at what he said.
