17. Seeing ghosts

"Dad...?" He looked at her and walked passed her. She turned around and saw him looking back at her.
He winked at her and he ran into the building.
"What the hell?"
She rubbed her eyes and he was gone, like he just disappeared.

"For god sake!" She rubbed her head frustrated, she heard footsteps coming closer. She knew who it could be. And no it weren't the boys, it were some agents of DIA that were signed to get her back.

Y/N had still wounds everywhere it hunted her like a bitch, but she had to fight the pain to survive. She checked around the area and signed,
"Only a 5 minute run to the city, it should be able to make it". She began to run.

Y/N ran through alleys and kept looking behind her, the agents were coming closer she had to do something to lose them.
She was almost near the center of the city and a idea popped in her head. She smirked when she knew this would work.
With all the energy she had left she sprinted, and when she reached the center of the city she made a scene.

"Ah!"  She faked a painful scream that took people their attention. She fell down on the street and people gasped.
The wounds and bruises were very useful right now, someone ran up to her and checked if she was okay.

"Ma'am can you hear me?!" The man asked worried, he waved towards other people to call the ambulance.
"Ughh". She groaned and clutched onto the wound she had on her ribs. Y/N looked at the ally and saw the agents standing there, she smirked at them and they looked frustrated. They eventually left but Y/N knew they kept watching.

She pretended like she was struggling to stay awake, Y/N let her eyelids fall and let all her limbs fall.
"Ma'am! Shit!" The man panicked and a crowd formed around her.
At this point she knew the agents had left so it was save.

"Did you guys catch her?" D asked.
"No she got away sir...". The guys heard D sign frustrated.
"How the fuck does a badly injured girl outrun well trained agents?!" He yelled at them.
"Sir she made a scene in the middle of the street, if we did anything people would've questioned us." D laughed and the boys were confused.
"We trained that girl too well." 
"Sir what do we do now?"
"Come back to the headquarters, we already have a backup plan that will make our little pearl furious" he laughed like a psycho.

Y/N had managed to talk herself out of the fact that she had to got to the hospital, she convinced that she would go to the hospital on her own, which she obviously wouldn't do.
She sat on one of the benches in the park, it was late at night, probably 2 AM already but she wasn't tired at all.

"Sweetie get up, you don't have time to rest right now?" She looked at her side and saw her dad sitting next to her.
"Dad?" He nodded and she smiled at him. "How?"  He shook his and said
"we don't have time for this sweetie, I'll explain everything later."
Y/N nodded and laid her head on her fathers shoulder, he caressed her hair.
"I'm so tired...". She said with her eyes closed. "I know you are sweetie, but you can rest when all of this is over"

"You know the truth didn't you?" She asked aber father with curious eyes. He nodded and gave her a sad smile.
"Why didn't you stop her, why didn't you come for me?" A tear trickled down, her father looked down and whispered,
"It was already too late when I got to know the truth." "How did you survive the accident?"
"I will explain later sweetheart..." he gave her smile.

"But let's talk about the thing we need to do in order to save Jungkook."
"I know, I heard some agents talk about a assassination." Her father nodded, he explained the plan that he had in mind.
"What if I do it? They wouldn't expect me to do that..."
"Y/N that is too dangerous, I have limited information so I don't know what they will do exactly."
"Well this is the only way dad". "But I can't lose my little girl like that...".
"I'm not a little girl dad, I never was. And beside that, I was trained for stuff like this."

Y/N and her father were talking about the way the plan should go, they made a plan B just in case but Y/N was sure plan A would work.
The two of them were walking through the park and Y/N noticed that her father was acting weird. It was freezing cold and he wore only one layer clothes.

She observed her father closely.
He had not even one scar on his body, but he did have a lot of scars back then.
He looked peaceful, not stressed anymore.
Every pointed the one thing Y/N hoped wasn't true.

She turned to her dad and asked the question she was scared to asked. She could feel so much emotions that I scared her, even the shocks couldn't stop these feelings. She felt everything again.

"You're not real, are you?" She looked at her father with tears in her eyes. He shook his head slowly.
"Well they indeed train you good, you're as sharp as a hawk" he joked.
"Dad..." He signed and looked her in the eye "I'm not sweetie".
"But then how are you here...?"
"I have been watching you all this time, and when I saw what was going to happen I begged if u could help you. They agreed and now here I am."
"So, you died that night?" "Yes, I only discovered what your mother had planned when we were in the car. I couldn't stop, I'm so sorry sweetheart"
Y/N shook her head, "it wasn't your fault". She whispered to her dad.

She took a deep breath and walked closer to her dad.
"I'm sorry for what happened, and I'm sorry it had to end like this, but it is okay. I made my peace with it when I was younger, this is my path to walk down dad. So, so you can go now... I know you haven't moved on because you were worried about me, but you don't have to be worried anymore."
Her father looked at her with tears in his eyes.

"You're little girl will be okay, and she will always remember her father with a smile on her face when she looks up at the sky." Her fathers tears ran down his cheeks.

"Thank you sweetie". He smiled at her as Y/N was fighting her tears back.

Y/N looked up at her father and saw he was slowly fading away, he accepted his fate too. His fate to seek peace, peace he deserved.
"I love you daddy..."
"I love you too my little princess..."
she smiled at him and when he was almost gone she whispered.
"I'll see you soon dad...".

She turned away and ran to the headquarters, she was going to follow the plan her father and she made to save the people she loves.
The people that felt more like a family than her real one ever did.

She forced a smile as she walked away.
Untold emotions were hidden behind a fake smile.
