22. I guess our story ends here.

Days later Jungkook got in an accident, he had crashed his car. 
He lost control over his car and within moments he crashed into a tree, immediately knocked unconcious. 
The boys had been trying to contact him but nothing worked. Suga had to hack into his phone and track it. 

"Why is he at a hospital?" Suga asked
"I have no idea, you never know what he is up to" Namjoon said. 

They arrived at the hospital thinking that Jungkook had just gotten in a fight or something, and needed to get stitched up. But it was so much more than that. 

Hoseok and Namjoon walked towards a nurse and asked for Jungkook. She said to go to room 243, but they had to be quiet and careful.
They walked up to the room and saw a doctor next to Jungkook. Taehyung gasped and the rest followed not so long after.

He was hooked up to so many machines, he had wounds all over his body, he had his leg and arm in a cast. But the thing that broke most their hearts was the thing the doctor told Namjoon. 

"I'm sorry sir but he ended up in a coma after a horrible car accident. Im surprised he is alive."
"Y/N probably saved him..." jimin whispered to himself.

The boys let it sunk in but stayed by his side. 24/7, they took shifts because they still needed to live themselfs 

They talked to him and gave him always a summary of their day.
The good or the bad, it didn't matter. They wanted to make him feel included even though he was stuck in that bed.

It had been 2 months, 2 horrible long months but something changed. 
Good and bad news...

Fortunately after 2 months, he woke up. But he didn't remember anything.
He didn't remember the past year, nothing about Y/N, nothing about their love, nothing about her death.

When he woke up he looked at his friends, he hugged them and a day later he could go home. 
But when he got home he told Jimin something that Jimin didn't expect because jungkook had lost his memory. 

"You know Jimin, I have been dreaming the past two months while i was in that coma of a girl. She was beautiful, tall, and had those amazing ocean blue eyes." 
"Maybe it is just a dream Kook."
"No but it feels so real, like it is a memory. Do you know if I knew someone like her?" 
"Yeah we did, her name was Y/N..."
"Was? You mean she isn't here? " 
"No she isn't here with us anymore kook" 

"Well that is fucked up, I kind off liked her" He pouted and Jimin just looked at him.

Jungkook his eyes did lit up at her name, he didnt know her but he was in love with the girl in his dreams, Y/N.

Jimin told the others of Jungkooks dreams but Namjoon tried to make Jimin feel better about it.
"Jimin maybe this is good, he gets nice memories back of Y/N. Don't worry about it" Namjoon patted his shoulder and walked out of the room. 

But little did they know those lovely little memories became the reason of Jungkook his tears.

Slowly he started to remember, and in the end he knew everything that happened again.
He saw their love and happiness in the beginning, but their was more.
He saw her death. Over and over again.

Every night when he closed his eyes he saw that one night he lost her. 
He saw her running towards her, pulling him away from the bullet, her getting shot and in the end Y/N dying in his hand.
Jungkook tried every night to save her, but he couldn't because it was just a nightmare, not reality. 

He would wake up screaming, and the boys were only getting more concerned.
They would come into his room and see his shaking in bed. some times crying and sometimies still asleep.

It broke their hearts. Jungkook suffered so much from something he couldn't change.
He would see how the pain spread through her body.
He would see how her eyes shut slowly.
He would see how she breathed out her last breath.
He would see how her life slipped from his hands.

He lost her, he failed to protect her and he punished himself for it, even if it wasn't his fault. 
Jungkook fell into a depression and it got worse by day. 

The boys saw how he destroyed himself everyday a little bit more. 
They saw how his life slowly started to come to his end...

Jungkook started to approach his end, it was just a matter of months, days or even hours. 
He had plans that the other didn't know or think of. 
Jungkook was so lost that he couldn't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
