Fear The Walking Dead: After the Dam

Part 1 - They're Coming (Book Two)

Fall 2010 - Denver, Colorado - Night time

''Ahh!'' - The screams of many women and children were heard as they were running for their lives in the streets of Denver as great chaos was occurring.

There were many SWAT trucks that pulled over all over Denver as a great number of heavily SWAT members walked outside and began to shoot at the infected as they roamed around and killed a lot of people.

''Go go go!'' - A man shouted as he ran through the city with his wife and his two young adult children, both aged twenty, as they were being chased by the flesh-eating monsters, while the war between the living and the dead continued.

As they were running, they saw a lot of dead people as the infected were feasting on them, while their organs had been splattered all over the streets, and blood was everywhere, and there was only fear and death and nothing else.

''There!'' - The man shouted as they saw a hospital from a distance as they saw a lot of people that were running inside, as they thought it was a safe place to take refuge in.

As they were getting closer and closer, they suddenly stopped in an instant as the father of the family stretched out his arms and managed to stop the others from running.

''Holy shit!'' - The man shouted in shock as an aircraft launched napalms at the hospital, exploding the entire hospital and everyone in it.

''Oh my God..'' - The mother mumbled as she was left astonished as the hospital continued to burn.

Suddenly more aircraft entered the city as they began to drop more napalms in different parts of the city as people continued to scream in fear as the family watched in horror.

Suddenly a couple of infected began to approach the family as they noticed them and decided to run again, trying to get away from them.

There was a lot of traffic in the city, as a lot of people were trying to leave the city but were having a very difficult time.

As the people were in their vehicles, a lot of walkers emerged and entered their vehicles and began to tear them apart as they shouted in pain and agony as many of them were choking to death.

As the family passed through the vehicles, the son looked at one of the vehicles and saw a baby chair in the backseat as it was very bloody and pieces of organs could be seen.

This shocked him very much, so much that he froze as he closed his eyes and began to shake his head as he placed his hands on his head as his hands shook.

''Jude!'' - The sister yelled as she ran off to him as his lips were very shaky as he inhaled and exhaled a lot.

The sister noticed what he was looking at and this astonished her a lot as her eyes became very sad.

''We have to go. C'mon.'' - The sister told him in a very hurtful tone as she dragged the brother a little as he finally decided to run again.

People had become so desperate that they began to steal one another's vehicles and even assault each other in order to take the vehicles, hoping to rescue themselves.

One person became so angry that he turned on his vehicle and drove over another man as the witnesses began to scream in utter shock and distress as the man had been injured very badly. Some infected approached him and began to rip him apart as they tore his limbs apart and his eyeballs popped out, while the man finally gave his last breath.

The battle between the SWAT teams and the infected continued, as it had grown more brutal as time went by.

A lot of infected had outnumbered some SWAT teams as they tore them apart limb by limb, as the remaining SWAT members rushed off to their vehicles as they realized that this was a battle that was impossible to win, so they decided to leave once and for all.
