Part 9 - A Crusader Always Keeps its Promise

A walker roams around as suddenly someone stabs it in the head from behind as the walker falls down on the ground. The person is revealed to be Camila.

Camila continues to walk as she found herself in a town. She then takes a paper out of her pocket and looks at it, she then puts it back in her pocket.

She then approaches a high school as she takes out her knife and slowly enters the school.

She looks around at the dirty school as she began to cough because of the dirtiness in the area.

Camila searches around for useful supplies but finds nothing useful.

She hears a noise and she begins to follow the noise and after a while she finds herself standing right outside a classroom.

She slowly opens the door and enters the classroom and sees something disturbing.

She sees three young boys who had been hanged and now turned into walkers.

Camila looked at the children in shock and distress as the walkers growled.

She noticed a bag and she walked over to grab it, then she opened it.

She then looked inside and found three canned tuna, one empty bottle and one with little water in it.

Camila also found a picture of the three young boys and looked at it, she then looked at the hanged boys and felt deep sadness.

She then picked up the bag and got ready to leave, and as she was walking outside the classroom she turned around and looked at the boys one more time, she inhaled and exhaled and she opened the door and walked outside.

As she was walking suddenly a man jumped on her and took her bag and then began to run away. Camila then quickly got up on her feet and began to chase the man.

After chasing the man for a while, she jumped on him, making him fall.

She began punching him in the face as he tried to resist. He then punched her and made her fall off him.

The man got on top of Camila as he took his knife out and tried to press it against Camila's throat.

As Camila was trying so hard to resist, suddenly the man got shot in the head and fell off Camila.

Camila got shocked as she looked behind her and realized that it was Stella with a steady gun who shot the man dead.

"Stella?" - Camila spoke in surprise.

"Are you okay?" - Stella asked.

"What are you doing out here?" - Camila wondered while she got up on her feet.

"I'm wondering the same about you." - Stella replied.

"Do your parents even know that you're out here?" - Camila asked while Stella nodded no.

"How could you have left without their permission? Do you have any idea how dangerous it is to be out here?" - Camila spoke.

"I was bored. I have nothing to do back home. So I followed you, and lucky for you I saved your life today." - Stella responded while she smiled.

"We're going back to Willcox. C'mon." - Camila claimed.

"There's a reason why you came out here. I can help you with whatever you are gonna do." - Stella spoke as Camila looked at her.

"Stella.. your parents will be worried." - Camila replied.

"I can't do anything about that. I can't sit all day long doing nothing. I wanna do something useful too. I wanna face the real world, the real threats. If Willcox falls someday and we are left with no home, I need to be prepared for life outside the walls. I wanna get used to this world." - Stella spoke as Camila looked at her.
