Instead of going to my so-called room, I went to a door. It was light blue, with a silver doorknob. A bedroom? My thoughts were interrupted when Alejandro said,
"I'm leaving, Rain. I'll be back in about five minutes."
I didn't answer. I heard the door open, a jingling of keys, then the door shutting. A sigh of relief escaped my lips. I stared at the blue door, scared of what I might see. A corpse? Another kidnapped woman? SpongeBob?!
I opened the door. In there, there were dozens of photos of me. There was even a picture of me in the shower! I was disgusted when I saw my favorite white glittery lace matching bra and panties. I recognized it because I'm the only person who owns those. I sowed it together. I was looking all over for it! He had a pic of Mom that was captioned "My future mom-in-law".
This is just sick. He has nearly all my stuff! When I saw this, I stared agape. My 3,000 dollar diamond chandelier earrings. Sitting on a tiny velvet box. Those belonged to my grandmother! How could he?! Those earrings were my only memory of her, and he just steals them! How the hell did he get them?! Why me?!
I wonder what else I'd find?! A piece of my hair? Actually yes! That was in a little Ziplock bag, next to a bag of my nail clippings and bottles of nail polish.
"I see you found my shrine. There's a reason it wasn't well hidden. I wanted you to know how much I love you, rain. Can't you see? We were meant to be!" Alejandro said, smiling.
I looked at him like he was insane. I ran right past him and downstairs to the front door. I wiggled the doorknob.
"Rain, where are you going?!" I heard Alejandro say in a scary voice.
I swung the door open and ran outside, to realize the house was surrounded by mountains and canyons. I heard Alejandro stomping downstairs, so I sprinted outside, barefooted, only wearing my blue and purple rose pajamas.
Am I finally free? The dirt road extends on and on. I turned around and Alejandro was tailing after me.
"Get your fucking ass back here! Rain! Rainee mother fucking Carter! I will punish you when I find you! You can't escape me! Rain!" Alejandro screamed.
I ignored him. I'm just gonna keep going. On and on and on. There were no cars around. Soon, the dirt road came to a stop at a cliff. A steep cliff.
"No! No! This doesn't make any sense!" I screamed.
I turned around, facing the now red-faced Alejandro.
He sarcastically clapped.
"You're cornered, Rain. Surrender now, and I'll only stab your leg. You were supposed to be in your room. I was gonna check on you, and leave back out again. This was totally unplanned." Alejandro said.
"There's no way I'm staying here. I'm not gonna put up with this. I've heard of all those stories on Wattpad." I said. (She broke the fourth wall!)
No, I'm not gonna kill myself. Alejandro stepped closer. I stepped backwards. Bad idea. Down I go.
"Rain!" I heard Alejandro scream. But that was all I heard.
