::Rainee::

We arrived at the police station, ten minutes later. James opened the door for me, and we went into the police station.

"Can I use the phone to call my parents?" I asked.

"Actually, after you called, we immediately called your parents. They're on their way, and they'll be here in three hours, Miss Carter." James explained.

"Is there somewhere for my daughter and I to rest?" I asked.

"Yes, follow me."

We walked down the hallway, for a couple minutes, to a room labeled 'Victim Resting Room'. In the room, was a sofa, with a cover on it, a flat screen TV, and a telephone.

"You can wait in here until your parents return. If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to consult men I'll be in my office, down the hall in room 1117." James said, walking away.

Tired, I lay down on the couch, and place Marie on top of my chest. Realizing that I had no milk for her, I breastfed her instead. Then, I placed a cover on top of us, put only up to Marie's waist. Enough to cover up my breasts. And I fell asleep.

3 hours later....

"Rainee. Rainee, wake up."

I opened my eyes to see Mom and Dad, looking at me with tears in their eyes.

I pulled up my shirt, and they both hugged me.

"Rainee! I thought we'd never find you!" Mom exclaimed.

"I missed you so much, Rainee!" Dad said.

"I missed you, too! This is your granddaughter, Marie," I said, looking at Marie.

"Did...did he get you pregnant?!" Dad asked.

I nodded.

"But she's gorgeous," Mom said, stroking Marie's hair.

"Lets get outta here," Dad said, getting up.

James suddenly walked in.

"I see that you've gotten to see your parents, again. I'm glad to see that."

"Can we go back, without Rainee being questioned, having to reminisce everything?" Dad asked.

"Actually, he agreed to tell us everything, as long as we don't give him the death penalty. So he might be serving life in prison," James explained.

"Okay, good." Mom said.

Before we walked out of the door, James smiled and said,

"You might see me around, in Los Angeles. I'm moving up there, next month."

"Maybe. And thank you fir your hospitality, Officer James," I said, waving at him.

We left the police station, and never looked back. I'll never go back to Mexico, as long as I live.

................................................

Five months later...

I sat at my dresser, looking in the mirror. Tonight, I would be going on a date with 21-year-old, Officer James Tate. I wore an off the shoulder, skin tight, mid-sleeve, black dress, with silver chains on the waist. My hair was in spirals, and I had on thin-layered, simple eyeliner and mascara, and dark red lipstick. I wore a black, diamond choker, black chandelier earrings, and six inch, black stilettos.

Suddenly, I heard a knock at my door.

"Come in!" I said.

Mom walked in.

"You look beautiful, baby. Also, James is here. He's waiting, outside, in an Audi," She said, smiling.

"Thanks Mom," I said, getting up.

"Don't worry, I'll keep watch over Marie."

"Thanks. Bye, Mom." I said, kissing her on the cheek.

I walked downstairs, and then outside. James rushed out, wearing an all black tux, saying,

"Hold on, gorgeous. A man always opens the door for a lady."

James opened the door for me.

"Your chariot no longer has to wait! Lets start this awesome date!"

I laughed, and got into the car. Then, James got in.

"So...where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll just have to wait and see."
