As the days went on, Daniel eventually told me some surprising news. As I walked down the hall I heard a voice. "Hey babe!" Daniel said placing his arm around me. "Hi!" I noticed he was duper cheerful. "What's got you so happy?"  "Well, Miyagi and Kreese worked something out to get Johnny and his gang to leave me alone." "That's great! But what did they work out?" He sighed. "Don't be mad, but I agreed to fight Johnny in the All Valley Karate Tournament in January. If I win, he and his gang leave me alone." "Daniel, I don't know. Johnny could just be saying that he's gonna leave you alone, just to say that." He smiled to himself. "Watch this." He ran over to Johnny, Bobby, Jimmy, and Tommy. "You guys make sure not to jump in front of any buses, alright?" He shouted at them. "Oh you wait Larusso! It's on!" Johnny replied. Daniel ran back over to me and put his arm back. "Your ridiculous" I laughed. "I told you though." "So, you really think that in a month you can be better than Johnny?" I asked. "With Mr Miyagi training me, definitely." Suddenly, I felt Daniel grab my hand. I felt my cheeks heat up. "You know what's funny?" Daniel asked me. "Hm?" "You still blush when I touch you." I rolled my eyes. "Shut up. You know I can't help it." "I know, I know. I find it cute." Suddenly, Daniel stopped in his tracks and turned towards me. "I have a question." "What's your question Mr. Larusso?" "What if we go see a movie tonight?" "What kind of movie are you thinking?" He thought for a minute. "What about a scary one?" "Fine." "Yes! You won't regret it." I love when he  gets happy over the little things. He acts like a kid. It's adorable.

It was around 6:00 when I heard a knock at my door. In front of me stood Daniel holding flowers. "Babe, you didn't have to get me flowers." I said taking them from his hands. "I know, but they're your favorites so I had to." He somehow always remembered the little things about me. I placed them into a case with water. "I'm ready to go" I said grabbing Daniel's hand. Once we arrived I realized Daniel wasn't taking me to an old average move theater, it was a drive-in movie theater. "What movie is playing?" I asked Daniel. "The Shining, one of my favorites." Daniel laid a blanket down and sat down with me. I laid my head on his shoulder. A scary scene popped up so I jumped. Daniel placed his arm around my waist and comforted me. "Is it really that scary to you?" he asked me laughing. "Not really, I just mostly like your attention." Daniel rolled his eyes and smiled.

As the movie ended, Daniel drove us back to Reseda. I felt my eyes growing heavier and the car ride felt long. As I drifted off, I heard Daniel whisper something. "One day i'm gonna marry her." I smiled to myself. I was fully convinced that Daniel Larusso is my soulmate.
