seventeen.

It was finally November. One of my favorite months. The air was chilly and cool, not hot and humid like it usually is in the Summer. "Good morning babe" Daniel said leaning in for a kiss. "Good morning" I smiled kissing him back. "How'd you sleep?" "I slept good. I don't know if anyone's told you, but your arms are quite comfortable to sleep in." He wrapped his arms around me. "I don't know if anyone's told you, but your quite comfortable to cuddle with." He kissed me on the forehead and sat up. "I've gotta get ready. My first training with Mr Miyagi is today." I sighed. "Oh. I forgot about that. Guess we can't spend the day together, huh?" He frowned. "I'm sorry babe." "No, no, no. It's okay. You have to train. It's what helps you get better and beat Johnny" I slightly smiled. "Plus, i have to catch up on some homework anyways." I quickly sat up and kissed Daniel goodbye. It would take some getting used to being without Daniel for most of the day. As for the homework part, I lied. I sat down on my bed and glanced over on my dresser to see a picture of me and Daniel. 'Daniel must've put this on my dresser the last time he was here without me knowing' I thought.

I decided to pass time I would make lunch. I decided to make a turkey sandwich. It was easy to make and nonetheless, delicious. After making my sandwich, I sat down on the couch and turned on the tv. It was boring without Daniel here. He always had something fun to do.

It was around 11 O'clock at night and I still hadn't heard from Daniel. I laid in bed staring at the ceiling. I kept wondering when Daniel would be back. It had been hours since I had last heard from him. I noticed my eyes getting heavier and heavier with every blink. I slowly closed my eyes and fell asleep.

The next day at school I saw Daniel in the hall. I was running up to him when I noticed Freddy come up to him. I just turned around and walked away. 'It's no big deal, right? Maybe he was busy last night'.

I hadn't heard from Daniel at all in a week. Every time I wanted to talk to him, someone came up to him or he walked off. He didn't even think to check up on me. I guess this whole tournament has him and Mr Miyagi occupied with training. I decided that I would go to Golf N' Stuff to help get my mind off of it. I didn't really want to go inside. I had no idea why I came here if I didn't want to go inside. I just stood outside watching people play golf through the gate. "Hey slugger." I heard a voice say. I didn't even dare to turn around because I knew it was Daniel and I was still mad. "I know I haven't been the best boyfriend lately." I sighed. "Yeah, you haven't." He put his hand in my back pocket and spun me around towards him. "I'm sorry. I just got all hung up with the karate training that I forgot I even had a relationship outside of training. Don't be mad at me, okay?" I nodded. He kissed me passionately. He grabbed my waist and pulled me in closer. I couldn't stay mad at him forever. We both pulled away into a hug."Alright, I forgive you." Daniel smiled. "I have something to show you." He grabbed my hand and we ran across the parking lot. He took me to a yellow truck. It was gorgeous. "Is this yours?" "Yeah" he said scratching his neck. "C'mon, i'll take you home." Daniel grabbed my hand as he drove. "I love you, y/n." Hearing him say those words always made me smile. "I love you too, Daniel"
