Started as a Mistake (pernico/perico)

The Camping Trip

Author's Note: Hello!!!! I am back people, and get ready for a bunch of cute episodes!! This break was super needed to get more new ideas and to take a break, but I'm happy I am back! Enjoy<3

Percy's POV:

"Don't forget to get your camping trip release forms signed by your parents if you want to go to the trip." Said Mrs.Dodds. Oh shit, I totally forgot about it  with all this drama. I went to Mrs.Dodds' desk to get a new form. 

"Forgot it Jackson?" She asked, "Of course you would." 

I took the form and went back to my desk. Will Nico be there? It would be best to talk to him there and apologize. 

*Timeskip*

I went back home and my mom to sign the form. She happily signed and said, "You excited for this sweetie?"

"Sure I guess," I said back, "Could you get me a sleeping bag?" 

"Of course! Its great that you are getting out, it'll be fun Percy." Mom said smiling.

"I'll be sure to text you pictures Mom." I said and went back to my room.

Nico's POV: 

I looked at the camping trip release form, is it really necessary to go? Three whole days in nature, where there is mosquitoes, no McDonalds happy meals, and just mud. But if I stay at school I will have a lot of work to do, and just be bored. Even Will is going to I have to go since I'll be bored if I don't go.

I go to my dad's office room, where he was deep in work. "Dad?" I asked.

"Hm?" He said typing on his laptop.

"Could you sign this?" I asked.

"Yeah sure give it to me." I gave the form to him, which he signed. I left the room and laid on my bed. Why is Percy still not talking to me? Ugh, I should have not kissed him.

*Two days later*

Will's mom gave Will, Leo, and I a ride to school on Saturday, when we were going to the campsite. We arrived at the school to see a bunch of students in the parking lot with their parents saying goodbye , and getting in the buses. We saw our homeroom teacher Mrs.Maxina with Mrs.Dodds' in front of a bus so we guessed that that was the bus we had to go to. We checked in with the teachers and got into the bus. I saw Percy in the back, sitting alone, which I felt bad about. I got in a seat with Will and Leo, but it was too cramped. 

After a while, the teachers got on the bus and did attendance and a head count again, but she saw that Will, Leo, and I were sitting in one seat and Percy was alone, so she said, "Boys in the back, two per seat, one of you move with Percy." Leo and Will told me to go, so I picked my my bag and made my way next to Percy. He gave me a smile, which I returned. Maybe he is not mad?

Percy's POV:

The teachers tell Nico to move next to me, he makes his way next to me, and sits next to me. He was wearing a black turtle neck, and his aviator jacket, with his hair in a small ponytail. Gods, he looked so adorable. He went on his phone to play a game, so I went on mine and watched Finding Dory. Soon after an hour into the ride, I felt a head on my shoulder. Nico was sleeping, looking adorable on my shoulder. I brushed his hair out of his face, and fell asleep with him.

Nico's POV: 

I wake up and see that Percy was sleeping on my shoulder, but we were at the campsite, so I wake him up. "Percy, wake up." I say shaking him awake. He wakes up and looks at me, and says, "Thanks Nico," And smiles at me.

We get off of the bus and the teachers to another head count. "Okay now that we finished the head count, lets get you guys situated with your cabins." She starts announcing who was in each cabin, the cabins were small so it was only 2-3 people per cabin. "Nico di angelo and Percy Jackson." She says and I jerk my head up at my name. Percy looks over and smiles at me. (a/n even the teachers ship hehe) We put put luggage in our cabins and go out to the clearing where the campsite directors and the teachers stood. "Today, we will be going on a hike to the waterfall in the woods, be sure to bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent!" 

I joined Will, Leo, Clarisse, Connor, and Travis, who were in the back of the group of hikers, Percy joined Jason, Frank, Annabeth, Reyna, Rachel, and Piper. We hiked to the waterfall, and while we were going there I saw birds of all kinds, and deers.

Percy's POV: 

We made it to the waterfall, and it was so beautiful. "Be careful around the rocks, the water makes the slippery." Said the director. The water was clear and beautiful, so I jumped in, the cold water felt great against my skin. The director made me get out though, and man it was cold after you get drenched. We stayed there and had a picnic, mom packed me a PB&J sandwich which I ate super quickly since I was starving. A cold gust of wind blew, which made my teeth chatter, and me shiver. Suddenly, I felt warmer, when I looked, I saw that Nico put his jacket on me. 

"You'll catch a cold Jackson." He said glaring and went away to eat. He still cares about me? 

Nico's POV:

I made his way to the waterfall and was taking pictures with my camera of the beautiful scenery. But, then I accidentally lost my footing on the slippery rocks. I fell back and hurt my ankle bad. Percy raced towards me, and so did the director. The director put my ankle in a split, and Percy carried my back to the infirmary.

**I was going through the chapters and just realized that i wrote that  Percy asked his mom for a sleeping bag when there's cabins *insert facepalm* i am so dumb sometimes -.-
