Percy's POV:
It has been a few weeks since Nico and I's date, and mom and Paul have been super busy with last minute wedding planning. The wedding was three days away now and I still did not have a date. I decided to ask Nico, because I did not want to be the only one there without one, since all my friends were also coming as well. I whip out my phone and text Nico.
Percy: Hey neeks, are you free on saturday?
Nico: Hm? yeah why?
Percy: Its my mom's wedding that day, and I was wondering if you would like to be my date..?
Nico: ohh so introducing me to the parents are we?
Percy: could get that done as well
Nico: Yeah sure, is there a dress code?
Percy: formal, no color theme though
Nico: okay, i'll tell my dad
Percy: great! see you tomorrow?
Nico: bet
There I had my date settled, now onto the outfit.
Nico's POV:
PERCY JUST ASKED ME TO BE HIS DATE!!!! AT HIS MOM'S WEDDING!!! Ahhhh gods I am so nervous. Because I have no idea about these things, I called Will.
"Whats up?" Will asked, in Leo's arms cuddling.
"Am I interrupting?" I ask.
"Nope, so whats up?"
"So uhm..Percy invited me to his mom's wedding..as him date..." I say looking down.
"OooOoOo~" Leo teased, "Are you guys a thing yet?"
"No.." I said hesitantly.
"Well, it is a wedding right? So what are you wearing?" Will asked.
"The thing is I don't know, I have suits are stuff, but they don't fit," I say.
"Whats your size Nico?" Will asks.
"Umm..maybe I have no clue, maybe a little smaller than yours?" I say.
"There I placed an order for a black suit," Will says smiling.
"You know, sometimes you are my fairy-godfather," I say relieved.
"Do me good child," Will says, and we end call.
*Three days later*
Percy's POV:
It was finally the big day. I was nervous as hell, like what if Paul does not treat her right? What if he is like Gabe? But I trusted Paul, he took great care of my mom the past two years. Mom came out of her dressing room, and she look beautiful. I was tearing up but I played it cool.
"You look amazing Mom," I say.
"Aww thank you sweetie," Mom says pulling me into a hug. "Where is your date?" She asked.
"He should be coming in a while."
"Oh great, will I get to meet this mystery boy?" Mom says giving me a look.
"Of course, you'll love him," I say smiling. After that, mom went to meet her friends, and I went to meet mine. Jason, Leo, Annabeth, Reyna, Piper, Hazel, and Frank were already there sitting at the tables in the ballroom.
"Congrats on your mom's wedding Percy!" Annabeth said pulling me into a hug. And soon turned into a group hug, as the other joined in as well.
"Thank you guys, it means a lot," I say. And I joined them, and we talked about school, and the future plans. Then, I heard voices coming towards the ballroom, and the door opened to reveal, Will and Nico. I smiled at Nico and walked to him, as Will made his way to Nico. I pulled Nico into a hug, that lasted a little too long, because we noticed the others staring. Jason and Leo shared a mischevious look and were laughing at us.
"You look nice," I say to Nico.
"You look great yourself," Nico replied. We all sat down again and talked until the ceremony was about to begin, and we were all called.
Since my grandparents were not in touch with my mom, she asked me if I could walk her down the aisle, which I gratefully accepted to. I look my moms arm, and we made our way down the aisle and I saw Paul looking speechless at my mom's appearance. Yeah..he'll treat her as the queen she is. We reached the alter, where I kissed my mom's cheek, and let her go next to Paul, and I took a seat in the front row. They exchanged vows, and and they exchanged rings. Then the preacher says, "Do you Sally Jackson, take Paul Blofis as your husband?"
Mom says, "I do."
"And do you Paul Blofis, take Sally Jackson as your wife?"
"I do," Paul said.
"If no one objects, then I pronounce you both as husband and wife. You may kiss." The preacher says. They seal it in a soft kiss and the ceremony ends. We make our way to the ballroom. Its boogie time.
