Lucas was lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling and thinking of one thousand ways to kill his brother without being caught when he received a phone call from his one and only true friend, Elena.

"Sweetheart."

"You still alive? I thought they had killed you or something." Elena said laughing.

"I would kill them all before they kill me. That jerk of a brother blackmailed me to stay here for two months. Can you believe that?"

"I do. What I don't believe is that you actually stayed. What are you up to Lucas?"

"Aw, I just told you that Felix coerced me. Why do you always suspect that I'm up to something?"

"Because I know you Lucas. If you wanted to leave Beauchamp you would anytime despite your brother blackmailing you. Or... don't tell me you're actually going through with your plan?"

"Why do you think I stayed?" Lucas said smiling to himself.

"Lucas?" Elena called him lowly.

"I'm sleeping under the same roof as him and his mother. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Who knows when I will ever get such a great chance again?" Said Lucas.

"We both know that's nonsense. You love your brother way too much to even lay a han..."

"Oh please shut it!" Lucas interjected.

"On a serious note though, why did you stay?"

"Well... because... I... met someone." He faltered.

"You met someone? What do you mean you met someone? Like someone as in someone someone? Or just someone as in someone?"

"Holy cow Elena you know I hate it when you do that."

"I know, sorry. But come on tell me about this 'someone' of yours."

"It's not even like that so relax your bitchy ass. The guy is Felix's boyfriend or whatever."

"Jamaal? You mean the King of Demons?"

"Yeah. Him. Jamaal. The King of Demons."

"O-kay. So you met him and?"

"There's just something about him but don't ask me what is it."

"Dude, don't tell me you're falling for your brother's 'boyfriend' or 'whatever'."

"Trust me, it's not that. I just can't explain it but I feel like I need to protect him. You know how I can see things others cannot, and I saw something in him. Something demons shouldn't have because as you know, they have no conscience, no morals, no compassion, just nothing. But Jamaal... he's built different." Lucas said genuinely.

"You're aware that you're talking about a demon, right?"

"If you would meet him you'd know what I'm talking about."

"Are you seriously going to stay there for two months?" Elena asked. Lucas was about to answer when Maria suddenly barged inside his bedroom. "The fuck you want?" He asked Maria before telling Elena to call him later.

"I want to talk to you." Maria answered. "I think we have a lot to talk about." She added.

"We have nothing to talk about so please get your flat ass out of this bedroom." Lucas replied, stoically. Maria sighed and moved forward to stand in front of Lucas. "This will be the last time you talk to your Queen like that my boy."

"My Queen?" Lucas chuckled.

"Quit humiliating your father's name. Can't you see you're disgracing this family? Why can't you watch and learn from Felix?"
