Dario De Villiers - Werewolf

How unfortunate that my graduation contentment didn't even last for a week. I've only been back for a day but it was already approaching full moon. But I surmise that's a good thing since today it's my coming of age ceremony to help me find my mate.

The council didn't permit me to have the ceremony when I turned eighteen. I had to graduate first, so since yesterday was my graduation, today had to be my coming of age ceremony.

My dad told me that bringing your mate to the crown ceremony earns you ton of respect from the council and everyone. I was excited. I couldn't wait to find my mate.

"Open your eyes son." I heard my dad's husky voice bringing me back to reality. I was happy yet nervous at the same time. When I open my eyes, I will be able to smell my mate and they will sparkle brilliantly like a precious stone amongst the crowd, with the bond drawing us together.

There, I slowly opened my eyes.

But something was wrong. I couldn't smell my mate. There was no light sparkling brilliantly in the hall and there was certainly no bond drawing me to my other half, my soulmate. My wolf melancholily whined and locked himself out.

"Son? Is everything okay?" Dad whispered as he saw the bewildered look on my face.

"I can't smell them dad." My voice was shaking. The crowd started mumbling and making indistinguishable commotion. They were probably stunned and asking themselves the same questions I was asking myself.

"That's fine, there's no need to make this a big deal. When you come back from the coronation ceremony, you will have time and maybe you can travel around the city and look for them."

"But dad, we're the only pack of werewolves in this city."

"Yes I kn-"

"What if I don't have a mate dad?" The thought of that depressed me to the greatest profundity of my dear spirit. I knew it was impossible, I was just stressed.

"That's impossible son. Just relax, you will find them, okay? Trust me, I know what I'm talking about." Albeit the sound of his voice reassured me, my wolf still decided to lock himself away and only resurfaced later at midnight.

It was two days before the first full moon but it already felt like the night of the deed. Those who haven't come out of age and those who haven't found their mates, it's easy for them to control their heat. Well it's not exactly easy, but it's better than those who have mates. I didn't have a mate. I couldn't even smell them earlier, then why the heck was I suffering from the same agony as those who have found their mates?

Well, perhaps it was because of the fact that it was the last month of the year. Werewolves go in heat every month but on the last month of the year it becomes immensely strong and it could possibly last up to five days straight.

Kevin Hansel - Shapeshifter

I attempted to get up but Haiden gripped my hands and put them above my head then kissed me while ripping off my shirt and pants. God knows I tried to resist him but when he started planting kisses on my neck, on my collarbone and all the way to my belly button I just lost it and gave in. His chin grazed on my skin as he took off my vest and eased my underpants down my thighs and over my feet.
