CHAPTER NINE

"You sure you want to marry me? I mean..."

He faced me. "Yes I am. But right after your family's company fixed then we can divorce. I will help you with your company and you will be my actual wife for months or so..."

Kumunot ang noo ko at tumingin sakanya. "We're going to file a divorce?"

He titled his head, staring at me intently, licking his lower lip then he smirked. I gulped by his sudden act. "I am just helping you so...and yes we're going to file a divorce right after the problem has been fixed." He shrugged. "I know that there's this guy, an actor, he's in a relationship with you for years... Jace huh?" He brushed his hair. "If I know... I'm the most handsome than him, aren't I?"

Napayuko ako. "Y-Yeah, you are handsome yourself and please don't mention that guy infront of me anymore..."

"Why?" His brows lifted then he crossed his arms on his chest. "You two broke up?"

I bit my lower lip before looking away.

"What? Cat got your tongue?" He asked teasingly.

I glared at him. "W-Wala kang pakialam."

His lips lifted, he then took a step forward. I nervously took a step backward to avoid a skin contact with him. I gasped when I felt my back against the cold wall. He smirked, he cornered me.

"Of course I care... I don't want to be your rebound guy, my soon to be wife." He whispered on my ear.

"Why would I let you be my rebound guy, huh? I am not hoping to have a relationship with you. We will just get married and like what you said, we will file a divorce once everything was fixed." I pushed him. He was shocked at first but then later on, he looked at me with amazement.

"Woah, earlier...you were so week but now you're so brave. Why don't you continue your drama?"

I rolled my eyes at him. "That was just earlier. I'm doing that just for my family!"

"Oh, right." He nodded non-chalantly. "'Cause you don't know how to handle business, what you are doing is that you are trying to empressing the people worldwide, showing your body. That's not my type."

I cleared my throat like there was a lump in my throat. "I don't care if I am your type or not. Yeah, I was just a mere model, I was just doing my job as well and nothing else. Hindi lang ako nandoon para lang magsuot ng bikini's. I was doing model because doing my family's business isn't my cup of tea, bobo ako eh." I said before leaving him alone in the kitchen.

When I entered the living room, lola, tita and tito stood from their seat and stared at me worriedly for seeing my reaction.

I cleared my throat before smiling a bit. "Tara na po?" Tanong ko. Nagkatinginan sila at tumango.

We reached the car and waited for Drake to go down from his condominium. His fave was stoic as he entered the car.

"Doon ka sa likuran, wala nang space dito." Sabi nila tito at tita mula sa second seat. He stared at me before sighing. He walk towards me and then sat beside me.

I just moved away from him, medyo may kaunting space sa gitna pero hindi parin ako comfortable. I can smell his manly perfume and that he made me feel uncomfortable. I don't know why kanina pa tumitibok iyong puso ko. Maybe, I am so nervous that he's sitting beside me.

I hugged my self before looking outside the window. Silence embraced us inside the car, only tita, tito and lola and the driver were talking. Para lang kaming uod sa likuran.
