"Ma'am? Ano po ulit iyong sinabi niyo?"

I stared at her flatly. "You're not mistaken.

Kinakabahang tanong niya.

I smirked. "I'll be the one to manage it. Whether you like it or not." I said and turned my back to her before walking away.

I open the big door and there I saw the janitors were cleaning Drake's office. "You can now leave, thank you!"

They nod their head before they walk out silently. I roamed my eyes around the office until my eyes darted on the folder above the table.

It was Drake and I's contract. It says that whatever happens to him and if emergency comes, then I am going to take care of this company.

I didn't like the idea but I was left with no choice when he begged multiple times.

I just easily melt like an ice when it comes to him, after all he's my husband and the only gut I'm in love with, that's why I signed it so he'll not be disappointed.

No one knows about the contract aside from me, Drake and his lawyer.

This is what I promised him and this is for me also.

It's my responsibility, so titigil nalang ako kapag mga ilang linggo na bago ako manganak.

He smiled and he spread his arms widely, a sign that I'll hug him so I did. "What makes you come here, papa?"

He patted my head. "I'm so worried about my daughter-in-law and to my grandchildren."

"Papa, it's okay; we can do this. I still am hoping for Drake to come back because he promised..."

Someone knocks the door and I gave the signal to my secretary to enter so she came inside the office.

After serving the coffee and bread, she left silently.

"It seems like I need to punch my son's head." Umiling-iling si papa Paul.

I laughed a bit but shook my head afterward. "Don't need to do that papa, I am still open for him I guess so?" Patanong kong sagot.

We're both chatting when his phone rang. He excused himself before answering it.

"Helena." Oh, it's mama. "I was talking with Kishi... Sure, I'll be there in a minute."

"Hi, mama!" I greeted when I already received the phone of papa. "How are you?"

"I'm fine but I should be the one asking you that."
