CHAPTER THIRTEEN

It feels surreal that I am already married. Parang hindi parin ako makapaniwala pero ito na iyong totoo talaga. Drake and I vowed just three weeks ago and we're doing fine, alright.

I may not be with him for this week but I we're having a video call naman minsan, lalo na kung hindi siya busy sa trabaho. Our family's business was merged into them and I've never been thankful for he always call me whenever it's his free time.

Furthermore, I continued staying in our house and he would sleep in my dad's office, where there was a room in there- now that my husband's the acting C.E.O and my dad is still recovering.

"Alam mo, ang guwapo nong OB-GYNE doctor, supper hot and hunky."

Napatingin ako sa gilid ko nang makarinig ng hagik-hik. I shook my head. They're making fun of doctors, huh?

"Faith Kishi Fortez?" A nurse asked.

"I'm here!" I raised my hand for her to see me.

She smiled when she saw me. "Okay po, next ka na po." Aniya na nakangiti.

I smiled too before caressing my tummy. I felt nervous while waiting for my name to be called. Moments later and my name was called, I slowly walked inside the doctor's office.

The doctor smiled when he saw me, his dimples are now visible at this moment. "Hi, missis. Take a sit, please..."

He urged to sit on the chair infront of him so I did. His hair's black and no wonder, the nurses were talking about him earlier 'cause he's handsome.

He observed me for awhile before speaking. "This is the first time I saw you here, so you're pregnant?" He asked.

"I am not yet sure, doc. I just realized I became so moody and emotional these past few days, I've been craving for these strawberries and chocolates and then my period was delayed yet." I answered lowly. "I did not use pregnancy test to check if I am pregnant because my husband might see it, I just don't want to give him a false hope." And that I don't know if he's ready to be a father.

"Why?" He asked. "I mean, I hope you won't mind me asking." I nodded. "Doesn't he want to have a child?"

That stopped me, Drake and I didn't talk about children, we never did. I never opened a topic about child since I was hesitant to ask him.

"Oh, I see." The doctor nodded then extended his hand on the air. "Doctor Hayden Louise, by the way."

"Nice to meet you doc." He nodded before gently pulling his hand from me.

"I guess you don't know that he likes kid. If I was him, I would be the happiest and luckiest man on the earth."

"May pinaghuhugutan ka ata, doc." I murmured and he smirked.

"Shush! You heard nothing." He chuckled. "Anyway, I'll give you these three pregnancy test we should see if you're really pregnant." After he instructed me what to do, I went inside the comfort room and peed on it. I waited nervously 'cause it actually took some time, feeling ko ang napakatagal ng oras.

Tears started streaming down my face as I looked at the results. It's positive! Oh my God!

I opened the door and screamed happily to the doctor that I am pregnant. Gosh! Drake and I are pregnant, I hope he'll be happy after discovering this. I'm gonna be a mom!
