CHAPTER NINETEEN

"I'll be right back."

"Dapat lang, uwi ka bago ang gender reveal ng mga babies natin."

The fight attendant was safe, atleast, but was rushed to the hospital because her leg got injured, while the other pilot was found by a fisherman, who was rushed at the hospital and in a critical condition, however the other one was still missing, therefore my husband's reportedly missing too. We got that from the three guys (Adrian, Vin, and Chard) who was out of town to keep us update from time to time.

While my husband, we still don't know where he is right now because we couldn't find him, according to the flight attendant 'nauna raw siyang bumaba sa kautusan ni Drake, ayaw niya ring may mangyari sakanya kasi may pamilya raw siya.

She's aware that her job is to let the boss' out first before her and according to her, after what happened, she would gladly accept to resign because she didn't do her job correctly and her responsibility as a flight attendant.

I just don't know what to say when we she was crying infront of me, it was 9 in the morning when she came to talk with us. I just dismissed her, we'll talk to her after Drake comes back. Right now, I am not in the mind to think. I just need Drake to come back home.

I opened my eyes slowly but closed it tightly because of the sunrise that is hitting my face, it's like urging me to wake up and so I did quickly opened my eyes, roamed it around our room until my eyes stopped at the clock beside me, it's already 8 in the morning.

I sighed because of frustration. I remember I was wide awake: seven in the evening 'til midnight, I fought not to sleep, if I could drink coffee then I will but I have three kids in my tummy. Kung hindi pa ako binalaan nila mommy at mama Helena tungkol sa mga anak namin ni Drake at dahil pinaghihirapan ko raw ang sarili ko ay siguradong malalagot raw sila kay Drake.

In the end, I fall asleep without having any latest update about my lost husband.

Oh my God, Drake! Go home now, wherever you are.We miss you. I want you here beside me. I always.

I prayed silently as I was watching the sunrise. Suddenly, I heard a commotion, I think it was from below.

Napahilamos ako sa mukha bago tuluyang lumabas ng kuwarto, nang nasa hagdan ako ay rinig ko ang commotion sa baba.

"We should just tell her, Helena! I know my daughter!"

Kumunot ang noo ko at napahawak sa dibdib, I began overthinking negative things that I should not. What is he's... No! I shook my head, my Drake's a fighter!

"No!" Mama Helena's voice cracked. "No, let's just wait. It's not... Not yet..."

"Come on!" I heard my mom shouted frustratedly.

"You both should calm down first or else she'll be awake. Kakain muna tayo bago natin ito pag-usapan." It was my dad's voice. "Krixxy, call your ate upstairs, we'll eat."

"Yes dad..." As my sister was about to get upstairs when I decided to show up.

"A-Ate!" My sister gasped, shocked.

Tumango ako sakanya bago ibinaling ang tingin sa dining room, wherein all of them are shocked seeing me standing here. Tumaas ang kilay ko.

"Mas mabuti kung kumain muna tayo bago ang lahat." Bumuntong-hininga ako at umiling.

"If it's about my husband then tell me..."

"Mas mabuting kumain muna tayo, anak." Pagdadahilan ni mom. "Alalahanin mo na buntis ka." Sa sinabi niya ay napahawak ako sa tiyan ko at umupo nang tuluyan, we prayed before eating our food. Tahimik ang mesa, hindi gaya nang dati na medyo maingay naman kahit meron si Drake o nasa trabaho, pero ngayon iba na.
