It's been exactly 1 week since you and Bucky had ended things. You couldn't eat couldn't sleep, you felt as if your world was ripped to shreds. The only reason you two broke up was out of pure jealousy, you guys were so scared of someone else ripping you two apart but never noticed you were doing it to yourselves.
He was your rock, your joy. And now, he's just an old lover that you may never forget.
"Y/N You have to get out of bed at some time!" Your friend darla nagged at you. Her and Peggy have been urging you to go out with them.
"We should go to the speakeasy tonight" "darla I'm really not in the mood" "well you'll never be in the mood unless you put yourself in the mood now get ready we'll be back in an hour" Peggy argued as they left the house.
Slowly but surely you got up and dressed throwing on a simple dress and light makeup.
Every now and then you would have to pause to stop yourself from breaking down.
As you studied yourself in the mirror you couldn't help but imagine of how Bucky would wrap his arms around you waist and whisper "you look gorgeous doll" and place a kiss on your temple.
A silent tear strolled down your cheek.
You heard a knock at your door gaining your attention. As you answers it you noticed darla and Peggy all dolled up. You gave them a small smile and off you went.
As you entered the speakeasy you noticed all the bright lights and all the dancing people they all wore a bright smile on there face.
"Let's dance" darla spoke up "no I think I'm going to go get a drink" you said making your way to the bar.
You didn't order anything you just sat there wishing you were in bed.
"What's a pretty lady like here doing sitting here lonesome?" Looking to the seat next to you where the voice came from you noticed a handsome man.
"My girlfriends dragged me out here and went off dancing" "they ditch you?" "No more like I ditched them." You said with a small smile.
Little did you know across the room sat your now ex-boyfriend Bucky. He watched as you two conversated growing infuriated.
He watched you and how you laughed at his stupid jokes, how you blushed when he complimented you.
His mind kept reminding him "she's mine" "who the fuck is this guy?" His jaw clenched as the girl next to him tried to gain his attention.
If you were in a cartoon you would be able to see the steam coming from his ears.
You laughed at the mans jokes to try to lighten your mood but he couldn't compare to Bucky.
He would compliment you but not the way buck did.
He couldn't take any more of it. He let all his anger consume him as he stormed over to your seats.
"I think it's time for you to leave buddy" Bucky spoke in a deep voice "oh yea says who?" "Says her boyfriend now leave or I'll make you and that won't be pretty."
You were taken back by his actions. Of course Bucky got jealous but he always bit his tongue.
"Okay pal if that your lover why were they sitting here with me and not you" the man asked. You knew this pushed Bucky over the edge.
You watched as Bucky grabbed him by the collar and slammed him onto the counter soon connecting his fist with the mans jaw.
The man then took a glass cup smashing it on buckys head only getting him angrier. You backed up because you knew there was no stopping that.
Soon enough there was a crowed watching. Darla and Peggy had found you along with Steve. Steve then grabbed Bucky by his shoulders and dragged him outside with you following not far behind.
As you made your way outside you were greeted by an infuriated Bucky and a calming Steve.
"What the hell was that?" You asked Bucky as he avoided eye contact as he laughed to himself "You think this is funny?!"
"You're My Girl!!" He snapped you could see the veins popping out of his neck.
"You Broke Up With Me!! Remember?!"
"I Was Angry!" "Why?! Why we're you so angry?!" "Y/N! You're mine okay?! I dont want you with some other asshole!"
"I don't care what you want Bucky! You don't know how much pain you put me through this past week!" "What you think I wasn't hurting too?!"
"Oh so I can't have one conversation with a guy but it's fine for you to flirt with other girls?! Yea I saw that flapper all over you!" You saw as he clenched his jaw.
"C'mon say it buck. I know you're biting your tongue just spit it out" you spat
Without warning he took your face in his hands and roughly kissed you causing you both too calm down. The anger slowly faded as your lips moved in sync.
"I'm so sorry doll. I just- I love you too much to let you go" he whispered "I love you too buck"
