Peter and y/n had just arrived to his apartment after school. Peter was going on about how he wanted to take liz Allan to homecoming.
"I don't see what the problem is" "the problem is that it's Liz" "are you saying I don't have a chance with her" "no dingus I just- UGH" "what why not?"
"Whatever man just- whatever do yo thing" "no why dose it bother you so much?" "Bye peter" y/n said exiting his apartment making their way down the hallway to their apartment.
"Oh my god what do you want?" Y/n asked answering her phone "are you mad?" "No" "then why'd you leave?" He asked making y/n laugh.
"I said bye-" "-wait don't hang up! Why can't I ask her?" "I never said you can't I literally just said do yo thing"
"Okay but you don't want me to" he said through the phone. Y/n didn't reply they only sucked their teeth out of fustration "bc I wanna go with you" they said but not loud enough for him to hear.
"Y/n? You there?" "Peter just ask her. How do you plan on doing it?" "Well I was just gonna... walk up to her and ask her?" "No! You have to make it special. Like get her chocolates or something and make a cheesy poster chicks dig that." "Yea okay thanks." "Okay bye" they hung up before he got the chance to respond.

"I think I have a test today." Y/n told bed as they walked down the halls of their school.
"What class?" "Algebra-" y/n cut themselves off when they saw Peter talking to Liz with a poster and chocolate.
Y/n quickly grabbed Ned and hid behind a wall peeking there head out. "Do you think he's asking her?" "I don't know"
Liz wasn't freaking out so they assumed she said no. Until he started walking their way.
"What's happening" y/n turned to ned.
"I'm sorry" he pushed her to the middle of the hall in front of Peter.
"Oh hey. What did she say?" Y/n asked Peter "why do you still have the poster and chocolate?"
"Y/n will you go to homecoming with me?" "But I thought-" "I only asked for your help to see what your ideal homecoming invitation would be."
"You're a fucking genius. Of course I'll go to homecoming with you Peter."
