Chapter 6 - Date?

As everyone fell silent in the room when they heard Todoroki's voice on the other side of the door everyone urged Yaoyorozu to go talk to him.

After a bit of hesitation Yaoyorozu gained the courage to open the door and talk to Todokori outside. As soon as she left the room, her friends all looked at each other and knew exactly what everyone were thinking

"Let's listen in" said Ashido with a big smile on her face

"W-w-we can't! What if its something private?" said Uraraka in response

"It won't hurt to listen. Come one admit it Uraraka-san, you want to know what happens too right?" said Hagakure in a playful manner

"I-I-I think that's ver-"stated Uraraka before she was cut off by Hagakure

"Besides if we find out that it is starting to get too personal... Then we back off" she said

"Fine. I agree with that" said Jirou out of the blue

"Also... I've been dying to see where Yaomomo takes this" she added with a smirk

Then all the girls ended up listening on Todoroki and Yaoyorozu's conversation

"H-hey Yaoyorozu I hope I'm not bothering you at this time" said Todokori trying to act calm

"N-n-no! of course not! I was just fixing up my room" replied Momo in which she made up a lie since she didn't want to mention that she was having a conversation with her friends about confessing to him ;)

"Ah that's good." said Todoroki starting to sound nervous

"I was wondering if you had any plans tomorrow" he added in a quiet tone but still loud enough to be heard by Yaoyorozu

"N-no I didn't have any plans tomorrow. To be honest I was just thinking of staying in or studying" she replied

'Why couldn't I think of anything more exciting to say?' thought Yaoyorozu

"I'm glad you have nothing planned" said Todoroki in response

"Hmm? Why" asked Yaoyorozu in confusion

"I was wondering if you would like to go out tomorrow. There is also something that I would like to talk to you about" said Todoroki with a slight blush threatening to show

"Y-yes! I mean wait! S-sorry I mean what time tomorrow?" replied Yaoyorozu, trying not to act too eager but it was also kind of too late for that

"About 1:00pm I'll come pick you up here" said Todoroki but this time sounding really confident but his blushing was no longer able to hide

Yaoyorozu saw this and found it cute. Despite being a bit nervous and embarrassed she couldn't help poking a bit of fun at him

"S-so... Are you saying it's like a date?" replied Yaoyorozu, also trying to act confident but ultimately failed due to blushing really hard when she realized what she just said to him

"Yeah... I guess what I'm trying to say is... Would you like to go on a date with me tomorrow?" said Todoroki while looking her in the eye

After talking with his older-self and the older Yaoyorozu earlier he knew that he definitely had feelings for her. Not in a friendly sense but in a romantic one, and he also knew he had no time to waste, otherwise he could risk losing her to someone else. Recalling the words of his older self.

'We ended up learning the hard way and lost so much time'

He knew at that he had to act now and do something until he heard something that made him snap out of his thoughts

"Y-yes I would love to go on a date with you Todoroki-kun" said Yaoyorozu in a nervous manner, but with a smile on her face

Todoroki could have sworn that seeing her smile like that killed him there for a second

"S-so I'll pick up tomorrow at 1:00pm?" said Todoroki as he recovered from his thoughts

"S-sure thing! I'll be waiting for you" replied Yaoyorozu while blushing with embarrassment from her words

"Well, goodnight Todoroki-kun... I'm looking forward to tomorrow" said Yaoyorozu as she gave him a wink before heading inside

"Goodnight Yaoyorozu" was all that Todoroki could say while being lovestruck with what Yaoyorozu just did
