One-shot - Dilemma in the rain

Author's note: This is not connected with the story. This is just a Todomomo one shot hehe. I got this idea after I read a moral ethical dilemma off the internet and saw romantic answer to the problem so I thought it would be cute to add in this side story. Hope you enjoy!

Let's start!

It was a normal day in U.A and it seemed like it was going to be another boring class. Everyone was doing their own thing; studying, sleeping, playing around, while on the other hand there was a couple in the back who were silently flirting with each other.

Yaoyorozu Momo was resting her head on her boyfriend's shoulders since she barely got any sleep last night

"Still a feeling sleepy?" asked Todoroki with a bit of concern

"Yeah, a bit... I was practically up all night studying" said Yaoyorozu with a tired smile on her face

"Take it easy sometimes, don't forget to take breaks every now and then" replied Todoroki

"Prioritize your rest over studying, it makes my worried about you sometimes you know" he added in a shy tone

"I could say the same thing about you." Yaoyorozu quickly replied while still resting her head on his shoulder

"Hmm I wonder whose boyfriend basically worked himself to the bone during training?" she added with a smirk

"I can never win against you huh Momo?" Todoroki replied while gently resting his head on

hers

It was at that moment that Mr. Aizawa came into the classroom and everyone went back into order, including the resting couple at the back. Mr. Aizawa was teaching class A about morals and principles when he suddenly gave a problem to see what choices his students would decide upon.

"Today I have an activity for you. It is called an ethical dilemma wherein you have problem with 2 or more possible solutions to choose from but the choices that you choose will test how you would react to the problem and you can only choose 1 among the 3 choices in the problem that I have given."

"That sounds like fun! It's like a personality test huh? Bring it on!" said Kirishima in an excited tone.

"Hmm, let's see if you still think its fun after you see the problem." said Mr. Aizawa with a smirk

Everyone seemed excited until they heard the question

"You are normal person with no quirks, driving down the road on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady that looks as if she is about to die

2. An old friend who once saved your life

3. The love of your life that you have always dreamed of meeting

But the catch is that because your car can only fit one person with you, who will you offer the ride to?"

As soon as everyone heard the problem and its choices they began to understand that this activity would really test their morals and principals when it came to helping others.

"I understand that everyone may not be open to sharing their choice to their classmates so in order to keep their choices private you will all write your name and the person you chose to offer a ride to on the paper and turn it in. You have 5 minutes to choose."

As soon as the day ended it started to rain really hard. As Todoroki and Yaoyorozu were walking back to the dorms together while sharing an umbrella, Momo remembered the ethical dilemma in Mr. Aizawa's class.

"Hey Todoroki-kun, what was your answer in Mr. Aizawa's class" asked Yaoyorozu with a bit of curiosity

"Hmm... Ladies first" said Todoroki with a smirk

"No fair! I asked first!" replied Yaoyorozu with a cute pout

"Well, if you really want to know my choice then you better say yours first" said Todoroki with a playful tone

"Fine, but don't get mad okay?" said Yaoyorozu with a quiet voice

"I can't get mad at you over something as simple as that" said Todoroki with a smile

"I chose the old lady" said Yaoyorozu

"I understand that we are together and I love you but as a hero I think I would always put the people who can't help themselves first before anyone else... Since that is what we are taught here in U.A"

"I knew you would say that" said Todoroki with a grin on his face

"Hey! Why are you smiling? Don't you feel bad to know I would choose to help another person over you?" Yaoyorozu said in a puzzled voice

"Nope. It doesn't feel bad at all." Said Todoroki in a clam manner

"Wanna know why?" he quickly added

Yaoyorozu just nodded in response

"Because that is one of the things that I love about you Momo" Todoroki said in a quiet voice but could still be heard by his girlfriend

"The way you always put people first and focus on what they need instead of putting your own needs first. To be honest I would have been a bit disappointed if you chose me over the old lady but I would still be a bit flattered." Todoroki said as he gave her a smug look

After hearing that, Momo snapped out of Todoroki's kind words

"H-hey! I was just saying!" was all she could say

"Still want to know my answer?" asked Todoroki

"Y-yes I'm curious to who you chose" answered Yaoyorozu

"When I heard that question, I immediately knew my answer" said Todoroki with a bit of confidence

"So, what did you pick?" replied Yaoyorozu but now with even more curiosity than before

Todoroki just smirked and whispered in her ear

"I would just give the car to my best friend so he can take the old lady to get help... Then I would sit by the bus stop and wait out the stormy night with the girl of my dreams"

After saying that he kissed her on the forehead... not knowing his girlfriend was blushing a really bright shade of red from what he just said.

After Todoroki slowly moved away after kissing her forehead, and he saw her red face, all he could say was

"Let's head back?" while also blushing after noticing what he just said and his actions towards her

Yaoyorozu just nodded in response

As they got back to the dorms the pair were still silent but Todoroki broke the ice when he said he was going to go back to his room.

"W-wait!" said Yaoyorozu as she quickly got closer to her boyfriend

"Hmm what is it Yaoyoro- "said Todoroki as he was cut off when Momo kissed him on the lips

He was surprised by the kiss at first but eventually returned it while slowly hugging her

"You really know how to make a girl fall with your words huh Todoroki-kun?" said Yaoyorozu as she slowly separated from the kiss

"Yeah, I do." Todoroki joked with a smirk

"But I only want to say those kinds of words to Momo Yaoyorozu" he added with a smile and sounded more loving and genuine.

"I'll hold you to that Shoto Todoroki" Yaoyorozu replied while hugging her boyfriend

"You know I will" said Todoroki under his breath as they both went into their own rooms to rest.
