Chapter 10 - Night time confessions

As Todoroki entered her room, he was in awe at how fancy and elegant it looked. Sure, he caught a glimpse of it before when everyone had in Class-A had a room judging competition, but he was astounded as to how classic and organized it was.

"W-wait here, I'll just make us some tea." Said Yaoyorozu

"Sure thing." Todoroki replied with a faint smile while taking a seat

As Yaoyorozu went out of her room for a bit to make the tea, Todoroki looked around her room then came across an open notebook which he decided to take a quick read out of.

When he started to read the notebook, he started to realize that he was actually reading her diary to which he was about to close the notebook when he saw his name written down and he couldn't help himself from finding out what she wrote about him.

'November 1, 2020

It's another boring day here at U.A. but we have partner missions and I got paired up with Todoroki-kun! I'm so excited but also so nervous. I have to make a good impression and not hold him back no matter what!'

'January 18, 2021

It's a new year and I'm glad to be back at school after holiday vacations! I also get to see Todoroki-kun I hope he had an amazing vacation!'

As Todoroki read some of the entries about him, he felt happy that he was on her mind and that she wrote about him.

'I never thought she felt this way for so long. I can't believe I didn't see it' he thought to himself when he came across an entry in which the date was yesterday

'An amazing thing happened today. My future-self told me that I ended up getting engaged to the person I like... Shoto Todoroki. It felt like I was on cloud nine when I heard it. After hearing what happens in the future, Todoroki-kun asks me out on a date on the same day! I feel like I used up a lifetime's worth of luck. I'm so happy!'

After reading that Todoroki couldn't help a small chuckle from escaping from his mouth, as well as blushing from reading about how Yaoyorozu felt about everything that's happened.

While he was still deep in his thoughts, he failed to notice Yaoyorozu who came in with their tea and saw what he was reading

"Todoroki-kun!" she exclaimed which startled him and took him out of his train of thoughts

"H-h-how did you find that?!" she added quickly while looking as red as a tomato

"S-sorry, I didn't mean to look but I noticed an open notebook on your desk and I thought it was a normal notebook until I saw what was writte- "He said trying to explain himself when Yaoyorozu snatched the diary out of his hands

'I can't believe I forgot to put away my diary! I'm such an idiot!' Thought Yaoyorozu while blushing like crazy

"D-did you read what I wrote about you?" She asked in a quiet tone while holding the diary, trying to cover her face with it to hide her embarrassment.

"I only managed to read a bit before you came in." Todoroki said before he suddenly pulled in Yaoyorozu for a hug which caught her off guard

"T-t-todorok-kun! What are yo- "Yaoyorozu said but was quickly interrupted by Todoroki

"I'm sorry I never noticed how you felt. I'll admit I read some of your entries about me, but it also made me feel happy that you thought of me like that." He said while whispering in her ear

"I always thought you acted that way around me because you were just being kind like how you are with everyone else. I guess I'm really bad at reading signals huh?" He added while slowly letting go of her

"Yeah, you're really terrible at that" Yaoyorozu said with a chuckle but still blushing

"But that's in the past... I'm happy that we're here like this" She said while putting her arms around his neck and bringing her face to his. As she did this, he knew exactly what was going to happen next.

Time skip to next morning

As Yaoyorozu woke up and slowly opened her eyes, she could see the sun's light creeping in bit by bit into her room. She then gradually recalled everything that happened yesterday especially last night; then as she was about to get up, she felt something holding her down. As she looked to her side, she saw Todoroki sleeping soundly by her side. While she seemed a bit shocked at first, she quickly regained composure and slowly stroked his hair while Todoroki in turn, gave a tired moan and held onto Yaoyorozu a bit tighter.

'His hair feels so soft, and he looks so cute when he's like this' she thought to herself while a loving smile started to show on her face

After a few more minutes of stroking her boyfriend's hair, she decided it was about to get up and was about to get out of the bed, but Todoroki's hand pulled her back into the covers.

"T-todoroki-kun!" She said, a bit surprised that he was awake

"Don't leave yet. Let's stay like this for a bit more." Todoroki said while putting his hand on her waist, pulling her closer to him.

"The sun's up already. Don't you want to get up yet?" Yaoyorozu said with a chuckle

"5 more minutes. I want to keep holding you like this." Todoroki replied which made Momo blush

"Ughh fine. But only for a few more minutes" Yaoyorozu trying to sound annoyed but in reality, she wanted this maybe even more so than him

"What's the hurry? We don't even have classes today." Said Todoroki in a tired voice

"I-I know but still, if someone saw us like this- "Yaoyorozu said until a knock came from her door to which both Todoroki and Yaoyorozu's eyes widened

"Yaomomo! You awake yet?" Said Uraraka from the other side

Author's note: Helloo! How are you all doing? As you can see there is no smut in this chapter since I felt like it wouldn't fit into the story at the moment (since the just started dating). So I will be including that in my next one shot which will be coming out on Valentine's day so stay tuned!
