I headed to the annex and sat at the edge of the building. Others will say that this is dangerous but if you're an Assassin, the only danger you will face would be losing your Light.

"You did the right thing Y/n, now you won't have to worry about putting his life in danger." Haru appeared from behind me.

"Thank you Haru..." I looked over my shoulder to see him and I smiled. "For everything."

He was taken aback for a moment and I saw his eyes widen but he suddenly laughed.

"Don't mention it, I have something to do I'll see you later." I waved goodbye and I returned on watching the people partying at the pool in front of me.

He's right Y/n, I won't have to worry about risking Chishiya's life again and after all of this, I will be able to go back to him

Just wait for me Chishiya, I know you'll be able to forgive me one day

I stayed there for about three hours until I decided to head back in my room.

As I was walking, I was so deep in my thoughts that I didn't realized that Kuina was already beside me until he tapped my shoulder.

"Huh? Kuina, when did you get here?" I asked her and she gave me a worried look.

"Two minutes ago, I've been looking everywhere for you!" Her voice was panicking and I knew something bad happened.

"What happened?"

"It's Chishiya, you need to come with me now!" She grabbed my wrist and I didn't hesitate to come with her.

My heart was pounding and I hoped that Chishiya was fine.

Please be okay...

I was confused when we enter the bar and the noise of people partying greeted me.

"Wait, what are we do-" I stopped when Kuina pointed to a familiar person.

It was Chishiya and he was drunk.

"I've been trying to stop him but he won't listen so I came to find you." Kuina explained as Chishiya took another shot. "Maybe he would listen to you."

I watched as Chishiya took another shot even though he could barely carry the glass.

It pains me to see him like this but I was the reason why he became like this.

I rushed towards his side and held the glass that he was about to take.

"That's enough..." I said softly and he looked at me. "Please..."

"Y-Y/n..." He managed to say before he fell asleep.

I observed his sleeping form and smiled but then it faded away as I remembered we're in a crowded place.

Ketong's members migth see me with him so I need to get him out of here as soon as possible.

"Hey Chishiya, I need you to wake up." I shook him and he groaned.

He slightly opened his eyes then smiled at me.

"Y/n... you came back!" He exclaimed and I have to calm my heart and keep my cool.

If Ketong's members were watching, I want to make it look like I'm only helping another Executive member.

It is our duty to look after the other Executive members when we get summoned by Hatter.

"Yes that's it, come on you need to get up." I told him and he oblige. "Kuina help me!"

We made our way to his room and placed him on the bed. I sat beside him to rest and Kuina smirked.

"I'll leave the two of you here, make sure he doesn't leave his bedroom!" Kuina instructed and I looked at the time.

9:34pm, I have an hour and twenty six minutes before I need to meet up with Haru.

This was the night where we will infiltrate Ketong's territory, before our visa expires tomorrow night.

I stared at Chishiya's sleeping form, I tuck a hair behind his ear and smiled as I started tracing his face.

He looks like an Angel sleeping and I couldn't stop myself falling for him even more.

"Gomenasai..." I trailed off as my finger lightly touched his lips. "If there's one thing I can change in the past, I wouldn't want to be an Assassin."

After I memorised every detail of his face, I stood up and placed a letter on his drawer.

"I hope in our next life, I would be born as a normal teenage girl and meet you and fall in love again. I hope this isn't where we say goodbye permanently." I turned around to walk away but stop when I felt a tugged on my wrist.

I looked back and saw Chishiya sitting up, eyes half asleep and head was lowered.

"Y/n..." He slowly raised his head and I widen my eyes when I saw tears falling down. "Please don't leave me..."

"Don't leave me please, I can't live without you. I don't know what I'll do without you, I have no purpose in life if you leave me."

I couldn't hold back my tears and I covered my mouth to block out the whimper tempting to come out.

I never would have expected for Chishiya to act like this and it hurts me knowing that I did this to him.

"Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere so please, stop crying." I wiped his tears away and he smiled as he pulled me for a kiss.

I remembered that he was drunk, he wouldn't remember any of this when he wakes up.

Hopefully not most of it

The kiss turned into a heat one and at that moment, I decided to give myself to him.
