"Don't insist, Laura

"Don't insist, Laura."

I hear Moretti low voice as I'm approaching the kitchen, after waking up and getting ready to run on a black and white Nike set.

"Why?" Laura questions, both of their voices low and as soon as I enter I see Lukas with arms crossed, facing his sister.

They fall quiet as soon as I enter the kitchen, making me suspect that maybe I intruded in a familiar matter or something.

I'll just get the hell out of here.

"Morning." I say, not to seem rude  and grab a water bottle from the kitchen fridge.

As I start to head out for my run, Laura's voice stops me at the balcony door.

"Happy birthday." She smiles warmly at me and my lips part.

Lukas must have told her.

"...thanks?" I rub the top of my head as awkwardness envolves me, and she nods smiling.

I quickly get out of there.

What are you supposed to answer to that?

Do a happy dance?

Shaking my head, I climb down the stairs to the huge outside garden the mansion has, and put my airpods on.

Catch a body from Quavo and LIVVIA blasts on my ears, as I start with a quick jog to warm up my muscles and body before starting to sprint through the trees of the forest around the house perimeter.

If I could I would do a playlist for all the type of mission I have, but I need my focus at a hundred por cent, and with music blasting on my ears gets a little harder to focus on the sounds around me.

And just having a good eye sight and reflexes is not enough for me.

Either I do the mission perfectly or might as well get hit by a bullet on the brain.

As I'm doing a ponytail, ready to go on a full sprint, my eyes close as Lonely by MGK starts playing.

This music is so damn good.

I sprint around the whole mansion without stopping, the water bottle in my hand as I force my legs to go faster.

I was always a hyperactive kid and had a lot of energy, so keeping my breath and stamina for a long run was never the problem.

Running was always a way to forget my brain existed..

The rush of seeing my surroundings passing by a blur, the burn on my legs, wind hitting my body making the sweat go by unnoticed.

I feel like a bird.

With freedom and no worries.

Am I the only one who runs with more speed if the music gets me in my soul?
