ANGEL
"You're wasting time." Lukas says, hands propped beneath his chin as we wait for dinner at a cornered restaurant table.
"Am I?" I cock an eyebrow.
"Yes, no one wins shit."
Wrong.
"Bet. Winner chooses the next place we fuck." I smirk at Lukas. We've been in a staring contest ever since we ordered our food.
Even the waitress was confused. I found it amusing.
"Tonight?" His hazel eyes flash with lust and excitement, making me chuckle. "When the other wishes."
"Alright." He shrugs.
His phone rings and not even there he cuts our eye contact, picking the call, not checking who it is.
"Yes?"
Understanding that it's Laura, I smirk and cautiously slide my foot up. I bet he remembers that shit he pulled when I was bent over the couch, accepting her call.
Time for retribution.
Lukas jaw clenches as soon as my foot reaches his thigh, and he grips my ankle, a warning glare flashing his eyes, making my smirk widen.
Despite his grip, I brush my foot up and down teasingly, his fingers tightening their hold as he tries to focus on whatever his sister is saying.
It's amusing to see his adam apple bob up and down as he gulps, trying to get a hold of my movements, while simultaneously answering his sister with a even voice.
"See you." He quickly hangs up and I shriek when he pulls me by my leg.
"Stop it, Angel." Lukas warns, making me chuckle. "Or what?" I push, sliding my foot to his crotch.
"Fucking hell." He groans, his grip getting so harsh that it makes me hiss and push back. "Fucker." I grumble reaching my hand down to rub my skin.
When he stands up, I put the cup of red wine to my lips to stop the laugh at the bulge on his pants.
"You're leaving like that?" With my eyes, I point out his bulge, Lukas shrugs and starts to walk to the bathroom, the women here divert their eyes from him, but I check their eyes doing second glances.
Fucker.
He'll pay though, let Laura arrive.
I make my way to the seat next to him while he's calming down his friend, already with a plan in mind, and watch as he heads out of the bathroom, running a hand through his hair, totally ignoring all the women attention, less one.
A old woman with white hair, who's probably here with her daughters, but her eyes are trained on Lukas. He smiles at her with a wink, making the pallid face of the woman turn crimson.
Oh my God.
Once he seats next to me, I lean my head on his shoulder to muffle my laugh.
"Jealous?" He asks, his voice lacing amusement and I know he's holding back his own laugh.
"Very. I can't compete with her." I look up at his shinning hazel eyes with green and gold dots around.
"True."
I punch his ribs making him grunt following with a chuckle.
Finally our food arrives, my mouth watering at the smell of the warm carbonara in front of me.
If it tastes as good as it looks, maybe I won't need Moretti to please me anymore.
Laura finally reaches the restaurant, Gianna on her hip, and Lukas stands up to reach out and help her with the baby bags.
