Sleep really does wonders, doesn't it?
I feel like a new person, well maybe just a light state of spirit.
Today Lukas and all the rest of the guys are meeting up to talk about what to do, and when.
So, after dressing some baggy jeans, with a white t-shirt and a black basketball jacket above, I head to the breakfast room where they probably are already.
Leaning my head on the inside of the mirrored elevator, I massage my temples.
The Russians are the head of this scheme, so after them, Moretti must want to go after all the others.
Including the danish.
I don't understand why they put me and Moretti together in the ambush. We were never related, why push him, or me, into this?
The reasons are valid, wanting to find who I am behind the title, and taking out Moretti who leads the biggest mafia ever...but why together?
I feel like something is escaping me.
Once the doors open I'm met with a huge room, filled with tables and people serving themselves breakfast.
I spot Moretti and the others at a table on a corner. Grabbing a plate, I drop a mixed croissant, taking a glass of apple juice with me, before going to seat down next to them.
The only seat free is next to Dave, the head of security. "Morning." I say, receiving other greetings for them.
They all chat about how's the house doing, planning how to do the shipments while Moretti isn't there and all, I stay quiet the whole time.
I don't like much talking once I wake up.
"So, what's the plan?" Steve asks, I roll my eyes and see Lukas do the same.
"As you might figure, I'm not talking that here, walls have ears." Moretti says, annoyance lacing his voice.
Seriously, what did he see in Steve? He's dumber than a rock.
Lukas payed for a hour on the meeting room and it's there where we're heading now. There's a large wooden table with black leather chairs around, and a plasma screen covering half of the white wall.
We all seat down and wait for Dave to take out the laptop and files. Lukas stands up when the laptop image shows on the huge plasma.
"Ezra won't be there to unload his own shipment, but a large part of his men go. The plan is simple. We hide around the trees on the perimeter," Moretti points to the satellite image showing. "And I want a blood party. That's why we're going to be quiet and totally blow their shipment. I want that bastard to lose everything in the damn truck, and all of the men along."
"What are our positions?" Richard asks.
"Angel on the roof of the small warehouse. I'll be with you to blow the shipment first, and then I go down to kill them." His eyes lock with mine, and I give a brief nod of understanding. "Steve, Richard, Dave and Draco stay around the perimeter, caging them from behind the trees. Angel will be our eyes, sniper with her. Got it?"
