"She's only a princess, not a queen."
"She only wants to be seen."
"How could you even touch her
Let alone love her?"

Words of the weak
Made me feel so bleak.
It had only been a week.
People couldn't help but speak.
She could only feel shame,
And even more, the blame.

You lit the flame
That was only yours to claim.
You filled her with doubt
As you shut her out.
There's so much to say,
But we'll save that for another day.

Words left unsaid.
Maybe the feeling's dead.
No tears left to be shed
With your words stuck in her head.

She pours out her heart
Only to be ripped apart.
She only wanted you
Now she's left feeling sad and blue.

She holds on
Only to be told to move along.
She tried to give him space,
Only for him to fill her place.
