This story takes place 5 years in the future. Cw: character death.

Corpse stood infront of the arch way of the Cherry Blossom Garden in Japan. In his hand was an urn.

He reached up and touched the necklace, that had been made from some of the ashes in the urn, that dangled around his neck. His throat felt tight.

"We're here baby." He whispered quietly to himself.

The garden wasn't very busy that day, which was a huge relief to Corpse. He walked in, looking around and admiring the place. "You were right," he whispered quietly. "Its absolutely beautiful."

He stopped by one of the ponds, looking over the edge of the railing that protected the tourists from falling in the water. "This place looks nice."

He held the urn out infront of him, looking at it for a long time before lifting the lid off of it and setting it on the bridges railing. "I hope you will find peace here, Sykunno." He said quietly, turning the urn and letting his lovers ashes flow out and into the water.

His throat felt tight as the last bit got caught in a small gust of wind and was blown further into the garden. He stared at the bottom of the now empty urn.

Almost a year ago, Sykunno had died from a car accident, and Corpse had never recovered.

He stopped streaming. He stopped filiming for Among the Stars which was on its 4th season. He stopped going to his doctor appoinments. He even stopped talking to his friends.

Sykunnos ashes had been haunting and taunting him too, so he took a quick trip to Japan to empty them in the one place Sykunno had always wanted to go.

Now as he stood on the bridge, looking down at the water where his long lost lovers ashes had sunk to the bottom, he felt a tear roll down his nose. He didn't wipe it away or sniffle. He just blinked, and let more run.

He cried silently, wishing that instead of being alone on this bridge surrounded by the beautifully scented pink trees, he had his arms around Sykunno, watching the excited mans pink face look around in wonder. Corpse closed his eyes.

Sykunno would point out all his favorite parts of the garden while simultaneously insisting he didn't have a favorite part.

The buzz of Corpses phone woke him from his fantasy world and he looked at it. It was a text from Quackity.

I'm worried about
you Corpse. Please
let me come over
so I can at least
know you're ok.

I'm in Japan.

????? Why?

I'm putting Sykunno
where he always
wanted to be.

Corpse tucked the phone in his pocket and place the lid to the urn back on the urn. He lifted the crystal infused with a small amount of Sykunnos ashes to his lips and pressed a soft kiss to it. "I love you, Sy. Wait for me."

He took a step back from the edge of the bridge, sniffling as more tears rolled down his face. Then he turned, and finished his walk through the garden, walking out of the attraction and back to his hotel without a glance over his shoulder.

Corpses dreams were filled with Sykunno that night as he tossed and turned, waking up every hour. He hated being so alone after 4 long years being loved unconditionally.

He didn't want to talk to anyone because he knew what they would say. That they were sorry. That he was going to be okay. That Sykunno would have wanted him to move on.

Corpse never wanted to hear that last one. He knew that he could never love anyone the way he loved Sykunno. No one could set his skin on fire quiet like Sykunno had. No one could make him smile even at his lowest as easily as Sykunno did. No ones lips would ever taste as good as Sykunnos lips had. No one would ever make him feel as good as Sykunno did.

He didn't want to move on.

He wanted his Sykunno back.

And there was nothing that would give him that.

He sighed staring up at the hotel ceiling as silent tears rolled down the sides of his face. "I'm never going to love again." He said into the dark. "I'm never going to kiss another set lips. I'm never going to have sex again."

He pulled his bottom lip into his mouth as his face trembled and more tears came spilling from his eyes. "I miss you." He groaned into the emptiness. "Please come back."

If the driver that had crashed into Sykunnos car that day hadn't also died from the accident, they would have died by Corpses hand.

He remembered being in the hospital, holding tightly to Sykunnos hand as he died. He remembered pressing his trembling lips to the mans cut up hand, watching as his chest fell and never rose again. Watching the beeping machine as the green line went flat.

He remembered standing outside the hospital room with his hands in his hair, yelling for Sykunno to stay with him while the doctors and nurses tried to revive him.

He remembered crumpling to the floor, in a heaping, crying mess as the doctors called out a time of death.

He grasped at the spot above his heart as his cries and hiccups filled the dark hotel room. Life had always been a little cruel to him, but taking his world away from him in a flash was the cruelest it had ever been and would always be the cruelest it could ever be.
