Corpse rolled in his bed. He couldn't get it off his mind. Sykunno was going to be in the same show as him. His heart was racing. He hadn't shown anyone his face, besides Ben, but that had been an accident.

He sat up rubbing his face. It was gonna be fine. Sykunno wouldn't guess that Julio was him right?

His phone rang and he reached over picking it up. He stared at the screen. It was Karl. He answered and brought it to his ear. "Hello?"

"Did I wake you?"

"That's kind of a dumb question considering that it's 2 am." Corpse teased, choosing to not let Karl know he couldn't sleep.

"I'm sorry. I just needed someone to talk to."

"It's okay." Corpse pushed himself up off his bed. "Sapnap again?"

"Sort of." He heard the man sigh. "He brought our old friend home. He says that his husband died and he needs a place to stay."

"Why is that a problem?" Corpse asked making his way into the kitchen.

"Because, I had a huge crush on him before he disappeared and Sapnap and I got together. Things are already rocky."

"You're scared you're gonna cheat." Corpse finished, pulling open his fridge.

It was quiet as he scanned the shelves of drinks and leftovers. He decided that nothing in the boxed atrtic was worth his time and shut it.

Karl sighed. "Yea I guess." He went quiet. "I really don't want to lose Sapnap. George keeps telling me that I don't have to worry."

"George..."

"Georgenotfound. Dreams friend."

"Oh." Corpse still didn't know who he was talking about. He had only met Dream once. "I have to agree with him." Corpse sighed, grabbing an apple. "You and Sapnap are just going through a rough patch. They happen."

"We haven't had sex in a month."

"Jesus Karl." He sat on his couch, choosing to keep the lights off for the sake of his eyes.

"I know I know."

"No, I mean. That's kind of normal. Stop overthinking. Maybe his sex drive isn't very high right now."

Karl scoffed. "For the past three years we have been dating, Sapnap and I have had sex everyday."

Corpse wrinkled his nose. He didn't need to know this. "I don't know what to tell you, Karl." He sighed. "I've never been too good with relationships."

Karl sighed. "I know. I'm sorry. You can go back to sleep if you want."

"Nah." Corpse took a large bite of his apple. "Personally, I rather hear you rant about sex then be alone with my 2 am thoughts."

Karl laughed sarcastically. "Thanks Corpse."

Corpse smiled, chewing his bite. "Anytime, Karl."

The two of them stayed up talking, planning out future streams, discussing past streams and reminiscing on past ones. Eventually, Corpse drifted his way back to his bed, laying down and eventually falling asleep with Karl on the phone.

When Corpse woke up he groaned and rubbed his throat, attempting to sooth the burning in it. He sat up and checked his phone. He had a new message.

Julio! It's me, Jax from
the auditions! As you
could assume you got
the part. Here's the
schedule for the
filming along with the
address to the studio!
See you there!

Corpse groaned inwardly as he remembered that he would be acting in a show with his bestfriend, and Sykunno wouldn't even know it.

He set the phone down after thanking Jax. He got up and took a shower.

After his shower, Corpse sat in his computer chair, opening up his discord, joining a random VC and opening twitter. He scrolled through his tags, liking fanarts and grimacing at the hate tweets. He tried to let them slide, telling himself that half of them didn't make sense, but it was hard.

He took a deep breath and pushed his chair back from the desk, keeping his wireless headphones on and going to kitchen, getting himself a glass of water and collecting his medicine, piling the pills into his hand and throwing them into his mouth.

"Hey, Corpse!" Sykunnos voice made the man jump.

Corpse swallowed his meds with a gulp of water, and flicked the microphone down. "Hey, Sy!"

He walked back to his room. "Want to play a quick game? I have my first filming day tomorrow."

Corpses throat tightened. He stopped infront of his chair closing his eyes and taking a deep breath in. "Oh really?"

"Yea. I'm so excited. I wonder who they chose to play you."

Corpse smirked sitting down. "Me too." He opened Among Us. "Ready for a lobby code?"

"I kind of wanted to play rust."

Corpse closed Among Us. "Okay. We can play rust." He opened the game.

They played for while, a few of their other friends joining them. Eventually Corpse had to say goodbye and close his eyes to rest them, the blue light being too much.

He groaned and rolled away from the screen, getting up and walking to his room for the eyepatch, positioning it over his eye.

His mind was plagued with worry. How was he going to prevent Sykunno from finding out that he was Julio?

He clicked his tongue and sat on his bed in the dark. Maybe he should come clean and just tell Sykunno. He chewed his bottom lip, blushing as his stomach turned at the idea. No, he couldn't do that. He didn't know why, but the last thing he wanted to do was reveal his face to Sykunno.

It made him nervous to think about Sykunno seeing him. He wondered what Sykunno would do if they ever had a planned meet up.

He shook the thoughts from his head. He'd go to the filming. Act out his part, and pay for his hospital bills. Once he was done he would quit and not have to deal with that high stress situation again.
