Corpses leg bounced as he sat at an outdoor table, his eyepatch on and a black mask covering the lower half of his face. His hands were folded neatly on top of the wire table and his thumbs moved in circles around eachother frantically. His stomach was full of butterflies as the warm LA wind flung his curls every which way.

"Corpse?"

Corpse looked up, a hidden smile spreading across his face as his eye met Karls. "What's up, man?"

Karl blinked rapidly, sitting down at the table, his mouth opening and closing like a confused fish. "I feel like I shouldn't be here. Wow. Why so early?"

Corpse sighed, feeling slightly guilty that he had called his friend and dragged him out of bed an hour before the sun rose. "I have to uh, be somewhere at 7."

Karl nodded, leaning back in his chair. "What was so important that you couldn't tell me over the phone?"

Corpse sighed and tugged at his face mask, considering whether or not he should pull it down. "It's a long story."

"I've got time."

Corpse sighed again, picking at the wire of the table. "Well... You know that show that Sykunnos acting in? The Among the Stars one?"

Karl nodded.

"Well, I'm in it too. I'm Julio."

Karls eyes widdened. "Really? That's honking amazing oh my god! Does Sykunno know? Of course Sykunno knows-"

"He doesn't know."

Karl froze. "He doesn't know?"

"He doesn't know. I didn't tell him. Now, he's got a crush on Julio and I'm... Jealous."

"Jealous?" Karl furrowed his eyebrows. "You're jealous... Of yourself?"

Corpse nodded. "He said he loves Julio, not me. What if he only loves Julio because he doesn't know Julio is me?"

Karl closed his eyes, holding up a hand. "Please, wait."

Corpse did, letting the information make its way into Karls mind. He watched as Karl processed.

"Okay I think I see the solution here." Karl said, sitting forward. "Tell Sykunno!"

Corpse blinked and laughed. "I can't. What if he gets all weird and the acting gets weird?"

Karl narrowed his eyes. "You have to tell Sykunno. It's so wrong of you not to." Corpse frowned. Was it really wrong of him? Karl continued. "It's obviously not a privacy thing that's keeping you from telling him, otherwise you wouldn't have agreed to go on a date with him."

Corpse frowned more, picking a piece of the flaking white off the table. "I guess you're right..."

Karl smiled. "Of course I'm right." There was a honk and Karl glanced over Corpses shoulders, a small smile on his face. "I have to go, but tell him Corpse."

Corpse nodded, watching as Karl got up and jogged across the street to a waiting Mazda. The backseat door opened and the man from his picture the other day got out, rushing over to open the passenger door for Karl, bowing dramatically.

Corpse didn't have any scenes with Sykunno, so they didn't discuss much throughout their day of filming, but Corpse was sure to flash the other man a few winks here and there.

After the filming, Sykunno walked up to him, rubbing his arm shyly. "Hey, Julio."

Corpse grinned, stuffing his hands in his pockets. "Hey there Sykunno. I was wondering if I could steal you away for dinner tonight?"

Sykunno blushed deeply. "Tonight? You want to go to dinner tonight?"

Corpse nodded. "Yea, maybe we could head out now?"

Sykunnos smile fell a bit. "Right now? It's only six o'clock."

Corpse grinned wider. "I know. I'll have you home by 10."

Sykunno rubbed the back of his neck. "That's a long time to be out for dinner, and what about my car?"

Corpse frowned a bit. "Do you not want to go?"

Sykunnos eyes grew wide and he shook his head. "No, I want to go-"

"Then shut up and join me."

"Ok." Sykunno covered his mouth with his hand as they heard Jax yelling out that filiming was over and that their new scripts were waiting for them by the door.

Corpse reached forward and took Sykunnos hand, leading him over to the door, stopping by the table and grabbing their scripts, handing Sykunnos his before continuing to tow the boy outside and over to his car.

Sykunno climbed in the passenger seat.
Corpse stared at him for a few second, ignoring the slight ache in his muscles easily as he turned on the car and pulled out of the parking spot.

Corpse drove up to a drive through, apologizing because he didn't have much to spend and Sykunno smiled, saying it was okay.

They drove with their bags of greasy food to a near by park where they sat in the car and ate and talked until the sun had started going down.

Sykunno toyed with his bunched up garbage from dinner, blushing deeply and looking down at the seat beneath him. "Julio?" He said quietly.

Corpse looked at Sykunno, smiling at him. "Yes, Sykunno?"

Sykunno reached over, grabbing Corpses hand. "Thank you."

Corpse grinned, grabbing Sykunnos hand as well. "Thank you."

Sykunno widdened his eyes. "What? What does that mean?"

Corpse pulled the corner of his bottom lip into his mouth, flushing light red. "Being in your presence is a blessing, I'm honored to have had this experience tonight."

Sykunno scoffed in shock, looking up at Corpse through his eyelashes, covering his mouth with his hands. "Oh... Oh gosh."

Corpse chuckled, lacing his fingers with Sykunnos. "Sorry if that was cheesy."

"No..." Sykunno looked away. "No that was nice. I liked it."

Corpse smiled, three forbidden words dancing at the tip of his tongue. He swallowed them, deciding that there might be a better opportunity later. He pulled the car into reverse and drove Sykunno back to the studio, waving goodbye to him as he climbed out of his car and headed across the lot to his own. Corpse watched him get in the drivers seat and cover his face with his hands, a large grin on his face.

He waited until Sykunno left the lot before heading to his own home.

Corpse had layed in bed, his eyepatch on the bedside table and let out a breath. His phone rang and he answered it, not bothering to check the name. "Hello?"

"Corpse?" It was Sykunno.

"Hey, Sy? What's up?"

"I just got home."

"So late?"

"I was with Julio."

"How did it go?"

There was slight hesitation. "I..." Corpse waited. "I don't want to sound like one of those people but..." There was a nervous giggle. "I think I'm falling in love with him."

Happiness exploded in Corpses heart and he pulled the phone away from his mouth as he left out a silent cheer, punching the air happily. Then he brought the device back to his ear. "That's great. I'm really happy for you."

Sykunno sighed. "Thank you Corpse."

Corpse smiled a small smile, imagining the days where he would wake up to Sykunno in his bed, rolling over and wrapping loving arms around him.

His happiness faded into slight disappointment as he realized that one night at Corpses house and Sykunno would realize who Julio was.

He rubbed his face as Sykunno relayed the events of their date back to him, wondering what he could do to get out of this situation as smoothly as possible.
