when the bell rang the next day and jeongin walked in, felix saw that the male wasn't alone.

walking next to him, holding his hand, was a tiny little boy, around the age of six, and a basic replica of jeongin, only a lot younger.

"hi jeongin! who's this?" felix asked as he walked around the counter and crouched down in front of the young boy.

"i'm seojun!" the toddler said with a bright smile and a rather excited voice- his personality seemed the opposite of jeongin.

"he's my younger brother." jeongin spoke, a bit louder than usual, probably becuase he didn't want to seem so shy in front of seojun.

"ah, okay. hi seojun, i'm felix!" felix smiled at the young boy and then got up from his crouched position.

"so, what would you like, seojun?" the blonde asked as he walked back behind the counter.

"hmm.." seojun put his finger on his chin and tapped it a couple times as he was thinking, then looked up at felix with a smile again.

"chocolate milk, please!"

"okay! jeongin, you want the usual?" felix looked up at the dark haired malee who nodded.

"seojun, go sit down and wait at a table." felix heard jeongin say as he was facing away from them, then heard the pitter patter of small feet running after a small 'okay, hyung!'

"you're a good older brother, you know?" felix said before turning around with the drinks.

"what do you mean?" jeongin went back to his usual quiet voice.

"well, seojun really seems like he loves you, and he listens to everything you tell him to do."

"o-oh, thanks.." jeongin rubbed the back of his neck shyly, which is when felix noticed he wasn't wearing his hood today.

his hair looked so soft and fluffy and felix wanted to stroke it, but he knew his limits.

"hey jeongin.." felix started, causing the said boy to look up at him shortly.

"i know you're really shy normally and always have your hood up whenever you come here, but i want to be here to support you and for you to be comfortable when you're around me, so know i won't judge you, okay?"

"i- t-thank you, felix. i don't get that often." jeongin replied, looking down to hide the pink on his cheeks.

"a-actually, i wanted to ask.. can we be friends? you're a really nice person."

felix smiled at the taller, and nodded softly.

"i'd love to, jeongin. i was planning on asking too, i didn't think you'd get the confidence to ask me."

a little laugh was heard from jeongin, causing felix to smile wider.

"here's your drink. seojun, come and get your chocolate milk!" felix handed the drinks to the two as jeongin handed him the money.

"thanks felix. let's go seojun."

"thank you felix hyung! bye bye!"

"bye you two!"

friends. the word replayed in felix's head after the two left. he and jeongin were friends.
