the cafe bell rang the next day, startling felix, who had his head in his hands, daydreaming.

he looked over at the door to see his favourite customer, jeongin.

"hi jeongin! how are- oh my god!" felix stared with wide eyes at the male in front of him.

when jeongin had looked up at him, there was an obvious giant cut going down his cheek and one on his bottom lip too- they looked like pretty fresh cuts too.

jeongin looked back down instantly after felix's reaction, but the said male rushed around the counter to stand in front of him, to get a better look at his face.

"jeongin, what happened? are you okay?" felix asked worriedly, the dark haired male looking back up at him slightly.

"i'm fine.." jeongin answered just above a whisper.

"jeongin, you're clearly hurt! let me help you, please?" felix held both of jeongin's hand in his own as a form of comfort to the hurt male.

jeongin didn't say anything and just nodded silently, letting felix bring him over to one of the tables. felix then quickly went into the back room and got a first aid kit before coming back and standing in front of jeongin, who was sitting.

"what happened to you? how did you hurt yourself this bad?" felix asked as he gently dabbed jeongin's cheek with an antiseptic wipe.

jeongin hissed quietly in slight pain and closed his eyes, causing felix to pull away quickly.

"sorry, it might hurt a bit, okay?" felix said, then noticing that jeongin hadn't answered his questions.

"if you don't want to tell me what happened, i understand, you don't need to tell me if you're not comfortable. but do know that i'm gonna be here to listen whenever you have a problem, okay?" felix explained softly.

jeongin sighed slightly before grabbing felix's hand gently and bringing it down to hold it loosely.

"i'll tell you." he said hesitantly.

felix nodded and sat down in front of jeongin, still holding his hand in both of his for comfort. jeongin took a deep breath.
