it had been a couple days and felix was waiting behind the counter, waiting for the bell to ring and for jeongin to come in.

felix sat there for a long time, occasionally looking at the clock and noticing it was nearing the end of his shift and jeongin still hadn't come.

it worried felix that he hadn't come. did jongsuk hurt yell at him or hurt him and seojun again? was he okay? felix hoped so.

there was only ten minutes left of felix's shift and he had come to the conclusion that jeongin might not be coming tonight. he sighed and turned around to go to the back room, but just as he was opening the door, the bell rang and panting was heard.

felix spun around and saw jeongin resting his hands on his knees while panting after practically running into the cafe.

"jeongin! are you alright? did you run here?"

"i thought i missed your shift." jeongin said once he'd caught his breath.

"aww you wanted to see me?" felix teased slightly as he walked out from behind the counter to stand in front of jeongin, who nodded shyly.

"how's your cheek and lip doing?" felix asked, concerned.

"they're fine, they don't hurt anymore and i didn't see jongsuk when i got home, he stayed out really late again." jeongin reassured him.

"that's good!"

felix smiled and walked back behind the counter to get jeongin's drink.

"oh, jeongin." felix started and the said male hummed from the other side of the counter.

"do you want to take some chocolate milk home for seojun?"

jeongin hummed again.

"yeah, he'd like that, thanks."

"no probs!"

felix handed jeongin both of the drinks and smiled.

"see you tomorrow?"

jeongin nodded and payed before taking the drinks.

"yeah, see you."
