Chapter 15

Wooyoung: Seonghwa! Seonghwa!

Wooyoung screamed to get everyone else’s attention as he cradled San in his arms, scared that he wouldn’t wake up. Seonghwa rushed into the room, confused at why I was being so loud. Everyone else followed behind him and stood at the door.

Seonghwa: Why are you screaming?

Wooyoung: Seonghwa…

Seonghwa: What happened? Is he asleep again?

Wooyoung: Seonghwa… the medicine had about 20 pills in it and I gave them to San because he said he had a headache but when I came back up it was empty and now he isn’t waking up!

Seonghwa: What?!

Mingi: Let’s get him to the car. NOW!

 Wooyoung picked San up and rushed out of the car as Mingi got in the driver’s seat. Me and San were in the back with Seonghwa in the front and the rest of the boys stayed at home, frantically pacing around.

After a few minutes, they arrived at the hospital and they quickly got some nurses to come and help.

Doctor Nam: What happened?

Wooyoung: He overdosed

Doctor Nam: How many?

Wooyoung: About 20

Doctor Nam: Ok, nurse please get him to one of the beds and I’ll check him out. The rest of you need to wait in the waiting room.

The boys all nodded their heads as they now paced around. Both Seonghwa and Wooyoung were crying, scared that the boy that they cared about would not wake up but Mingi always liked to be the stronger one and so he was just comforting the other 2. After about half an hour, the doctors and nurses all left the room and doctor Nam walked towards us.

Doctor Nam: He took to many pills that-

Wooyoung: Please don’t say what I think you are going to say!

Mingi: Wooyoung just let him tell us.

Doctor Nam: Thank you. As I was saying, he took too many pills that he will have really bad stomach problems for a couple of weeks but he is awake

Seonghwa: Oh thank god!

Wooyoung: Can we see him?

Doctor Nam: Sure but don’t pressure him too much. He needs a lot of love right now.

The boys all thanked the doctor as they rushed into the room that San was in. The boy’s eyes were open but didn’t care to see who had just walked through the door.

Wooyoung: Sannie?

San: Why did you help me?

Wooyoung: What?

San: WHY DID YOU HELP ME!?

Wooyoung: I…

Seonghwa: Wooyoung wait outside for a minute.

Wooyoung: But… fine.

Wooyoung walked out of the door and Seonghwa walked up to San.

Seonghwa: San.

San: Don’t. just don’t

Seonghwa: No San. Listen to me. Why did you do it?

San: Did you not think about what happened yesterday? My mom is all that I had! She’s the one that I stayed alive for! After what happened with Kun, my mom was the only person who cared for me!

Mingi: You have us now San!

San: But my mom is gone! I have no family left!

Seonghwa: San. You have a new family who I can tell you are comfortable who

San: Who?

Seonghwa: Wooyoung.

San: He doesn’t care about me

Seonghwa: And why do you think that?

San: Because… because…

Seonghwa: Exactly! You don’t have a reason because you know he cares for you!

San: i…

Seonghwa: When he found you, he tried to wake you up but when you didn’t, he was so scared! He shouted me and when we got back to your room he was hugging you so tight. Do you know how much he cried on the way to the hospital?!

San: STOP! STOP!

Suddenly the door opened and Wooyoung came running in. He quickly hugged San and let him cry on his shirt. He rubbed soothing circles on San’s back until he had calmed down. He pulled away and held San’s face in his hands, looking deep into his teary eyes.

Wooyoung: What’s wrong? Why are you crying?

Seonghwa: Told you

Wooyoung: Told you what?

San: Wooyoung…

Wooyoung: Yes Sannie?

San: I… I’m sorry

Wooyoung: What for? You didn’t do anything wrong!

San: But Woo…

Wooyoung: You didn’t do anything. You just worried me a bit, that’s all

San: Wooyoung, can I stay with you for a few days?

Wooyoung: You can stay as long as you like Sannie

San: Thank you. Oh! Is Nayeon still here?

Wooyoung: She’s getting discharged later today. Why?

San: Can we go see her?

Wooyoung: Sure. Do you want me to help you?

San: No thanks. I’ll be fine.

San slowly stood up from his bed and slowly started walking towards the door when he felt a pair of hands on his waist. It was Wooyoung.

Wooyoung: I want to help you though

Wooyoung pouted at the other and San smiled at him.

San: Fine. Let’s go.

A few minutes later, the 4 boys had arrived at Nayeon’s room and yet again, saw them kissing. This time, San decided to barge in on them. He walked into the room and stared at them.

San: Are you two together again?

Vernon: I... we…

Nayeon: Yes

Wooyoung: Really?!

Vernon: I guess…

San: Don’t you dare break her heart again!

Nayeon: He breaks my heart, I break his neck. What are you guys doing here? And why is San wearing a hospital gown?

San: It’s a long story Noona

Nayeon: I have time, tell me.

San: Well…
