Chapter 54

Yeosang was sat on his bed with his knees to his chest as 1 sentence repeated over and over in his head. “I’m sorry but your baby hasn’t survived.” Yeosang hadn’t stopped crying since they got home from the hospital for the second time in 2 day. He hadn’t spoken to anyone and he also hadn’t eaten. Jongho had explained to their friends what had happened and he himself was heart broken too.

Jongho entered his and Yeosang’s shared bedroom and saw his boyfriend spacing out with wet, tear stained cheeks. He slowly walked over to him but Yeosang hadn’t even realized his presence. He was too caught up in his thoughts to register anything that happened around him. Jongho placed a hand on his shoulder but he still didn’t move.

Jongho: Yeosang…

Jongho started to cry as he wrapped Yeosang in a tight hug. Yeosang’s tears started to get thicker and quicker as he sat still. Jongho looked up to the elder whose eyes could tell how Yeosang felt inside- dead. Jongho cupped Yeosang’s face in his hands and made him look into his eyes. Jongho weakly smiled as Yeosang finally realized that he wasn’t alone in the room.

Jongho: Baby…

Yeosang: I need to tell you something.

Jongho: What is it?

Yeosang took a deep breath as more tears escaped. He looked at Jongho with shaky eyes as he prepared himself to say what he wanted to say.

Yeosang: I…I think we should break up

Jongho: W…what? Why?

Yeosang let more tears slip as he got up from his bed. He walked towards the door and just before he turned the handle, he turned his body towards Jongho but didn’t look at him.

Yeosang: I’m sorry

Yeosang opened the door and walked out into the living room, coming face to face with his friends until he felt a pair of arms around his waist. He felt something wet rest on his back as his shirt started to get soaked. He didn’t even have to turn around to know that Jongho was back hugging him.

Jongho: No… I won’t let you

Yeosang looked down as he tried to control his tears. He saw how his friends gave them both sorrowful eyes but Yeosang just couldn’t handle it. Instead, he released Jongho’s arms from around his waist and ran into one of the spare bedrooms, locking the door so no one could get in. Jongho knelt down as he cried into his hands, trying to not let his friends see how he felt but they already knew. Seonghwa went and hugged Jongho who quickly wrapped his arms around him and Hongjoong went to the bedroom door that Yeosang was leaning against. He knocked on the door a few times but only heard sobs in response.

Hongjoong: Yeosang, you can’t lock yourself in there. Both you and Jongho are clearly hurting. You both need each other right now

Yeosang: I… can’t…

Hongjoong: Why not?

Jongho: Yeosang…baby…please let me in…

Yeosang: Leave… please…

Jongho: No. I won’t let you break up with me. I know you’re upset but please just let me in

Yeosang slowly opened the door and started to sob hardly when he saw Jongho’s face. Jongho immediately hugged him as they both collapsed onto the floor.

Yeosang: I’m such a failure! The baby hadn’t even been born yet and I’m already a failure as a father! I couldn’t even carry it!

Jongho: It’s not your fault Yeosang

Yeosang: I killed our baby!

Jongho: No you didn’t

Yeosang: If I was a better person, our baby wouldn’t be dead!

Jongho: It doesn’t matter if you’re a good person or not. It’s just the universe’s way to say that we’re not ready to have a baby yet

Yeosang: The universe is a little bitch! I want my baby!

Jongho: Yeosang…

The 2 started to cry harder as their friends could only watch them. Their hearts broke when they saw the 2 so broken and upset.

Yeosang: I want my baby back…

Jongho: Me too baby… me too… but there’s nothing we can do about it

Yeosang: I lost our baby Jongho…

Jongho: We have plenty of time in the future baby. We don’t have to have one right now. We’re still so young

Yeosang: My baby…

Jongho tightened his grip as he rested his chin on top of Yeosang’s head as Yeosang cried into his chest. Hongjoong walked closer to the 2 and placed his hand on Yeosang’s back, rubbing soothing circles on it. Yeosang looked up for a couple of seconds before diving his face into Jongho’s neck.

Hongjoong: Sangie, you’re going to be ok. It might hurt now but I promise things are going to be fine

Yeosang: Jongho…

Jongho hummed when Yeosang said his name. Yeosang looked up at his boyfriend’s face before whispering into his ear.

Yeosang: I love you

Jongho: I love you too baby and that will never change

Yunho: Sangie, how about we get you some food. That might make you feel better

Yeosang nodded his head as he tried to get up, only to fall back down again when a pain shot through his stomach.

Jongho: What’s wrong baby?! Does your stomach hurt?

Yeosang nodded his head so Jongho carefully picked him up and carried him to the kitchen, sitting him down on the seat as Seonghwa put some food in front of him.

Yeosang: Thank you Hwa

Seonghwa: Eat all of it. I know you haven’t eaten all day

Yeosang weakly smiled at the older boy as he slowly started to eat his food. He knew that Jongho was watching him but he chose not to question it due to the fact that he knew Jongho was worried about him.

Jongho: I love you

-Meanwhile-

San realized that Mingi and Yunho weren’t with the rest of them so he got up and went to Yunho’s room. He opened it and saw that no one so he closed the door with a confused face. He then walked towards Mingi’s bedroom and heard some weird sounds coming from the other side. He slowly opened it and saw Mingi and Yunho full on making out. He was shocked but smiled, knowing that the both of them were happy. But San being San…

San: Now who doesn’t know how to lock their door!

i cried writing this chapter and I don't even know why.

I know y'all wanted Yeosang to be preggo but now i feel like WooLaLaaaaa might want to kill me.
