Hinata laughs loudly with the twins as soon as they know they lost Neji and Hanabi. Hinata realized she was being unladylike when she started to laugh loudly. Regardless, pranking Neji was more fun than she expected. It is refreshing to Hinata to laugh out loud, to not be ladylike, and to not have eyes targeting her.
"Oh, I got him GOOD!" Itachi wipes away his tears and straightens his back. He let out a big breath.
Hinami punched Itachi after she finishes laughing. "He is going to hate you so much."
"We both know I'm his favorite." Itachi smirk but Hinami glares back at him.
"Well, maybe not this timeline." As Hinata watches the two of them tease each other she see a small version of them. They look so precious and like little kids. Despite their age and physical appearance, when they are with her she sees them as little kids.

Hinami stop and smiles at Hinata. "Nee, Kaa-Chan..." She stops midway to think about what she will say next. But before she can continue Itachi continues for her.
"Don't you think it is time you go visit Otou-san? If you two don't get together anytime soon then Hinami and I might disappear." Despite Hinata accepting the fact that they are Sasuke and her kids, she has yet accepted the fact that she was in a relationship with the infamous Uchiha.
Ever since she was a kid, she only had eyes for Naruto. For a decade, she trained herself to be calm around Naruto and her teammates. Therefore, the thoughts of her just looking at Sasuke's face makes her blush. There is no denying that Sasuke Uchiha is good-looking. If she was to compare Naruto and Sasuke then Sasuke would win but that was not Hinata. She likes Naruto not because he is good-looking, strong, or has a status. She simply likes him because she felt a connection. They were both look down upon and Naruto (as an orphan) knows the pain of being neglected more than anyone she knows. He was also the bravest person she knows because he saved her even though he was weak... or at least that was how narrow her thoughts were.
Hinata has grown and realized that there are other people that suffered too. She had people supporting her. There were also other brave comrades that would die for her. She cannot support or help others if she remains a shy and timid girl who would faint every time she is nervous. Despite knowing this, habits die hard.
"Ummm... should I?" Hinata plays with her index finger. "To be honest, he is scary."
"That's why you were ignoring him and didn't want to visit the compound?" Itachi proudly stands in front of Hinata with his chest puff up. "With me there you have nothing to worry about. I will not let him do anything perverted to you."
Hinata's cheeks turn as red as a tomato. "Itachi! Don't tease Kaa-chan or else she will really not go visit Tou-chan." Hinami grabs her hand in excitement. "He is dying to meet you. He doesn't show it but we know because when we told him about you he asks questions back instead of his usually 'hm'."
Although Hinata was still debating whether she should visit. When she comes out of her thought she is already standing in front of Sasuke's house.
"Eh?" She screams. "I haven't even bought a gift yet. It is rude to visit without a gift." Hinata starts panicking.
"Don't worry you already have the gift. The cherry tomatoes you bought for me are a gift for him." Itachi show off the basket. Seeing that Hinata is still in doubt he smiles. "He likes cherry tomatoes more than he likes me. I am sure this will be the best gift."
Itachi unlocks and held the door for Hinata and Hinami.
"We are back!" Hinami shout.
Hinata shyly takes off her shoes. "Ojama shimasu (Sorry for the intrusion)." To her relief, Sasuke was not in the house.
The twins led Hinata to the kitchen and ask her to cook for them. They have been dying to eat the dinner that she cooks. After begging Hinata to cook for 5 minutes she finally gave into theirs plead. Hinata looks through the fridge and immediately knows what she wants to cook. As they cook together they would jokes and laugh. Hinata let down her guards and embraces the moments with the twins.
"They're so beautiful and precious." Hinata thinks to herself. The twin's smiles light up the kitchen. The sizzle of the deep-fried chicken, their laughter, the sound of the pot boiling, and the boiling water was like music to Hinata's ears. She is living her dream, her dream as a mother. Hinata has always wanted to be a mother but she doubted her abilities, until now.

"Tadaa! A simple and balanced meal before going to sleep." Itachi's eyes glow and Hinami starts to drool.

"Oh how much I miss this! It has been almost 2 years since I ate this dish. Arigatougozaimasu Okaa-chan." Hinata chuckle at their silliness. She prohibits them from eating the food until they set up the table.
Because Hinata let her guards down, she did not notice a pair of onyx eyes observing her.
