The next morning Hanabi neglected her duty to spent time with Itachi and Hanabi. They start off with breakfast with each other, including Hiashi. Hanabi was not what they expected because she was easygoing and happy. She asks them a bunch of questions that they could barely answer. When it reaches the afternoon she asked them to spare with her. Hanabi leads them to the Hyuuga's training ground."Are you ready? I'm not gonna go easy on you two." They both nod in return and get into their position.
"There is no need for you to go easy on us," Hinami responds as she launches toward Hanabi. Hanabi dodges the attacks from Hinami to only be greeted with Itachi's gentle fist. They work together in harmony but Hanabi is a leader for a reason. She was able to dodge and block their attacks.
"Not bad," Hanabi commented before kicking Hinami who once again launch toward her. Itachi grabs her leg to prevent her from hurting Hinami but she spins herself in an attempt to kick him with her other feet. Itachi notices and jumps back. At the same time, Hanabi throws three kunai at Hinami but she uses the substitute ninjutsu and rejoins Itachi. They continue fighting for another 30 minutes before they hear clapping. Hanabi's arms are bruised from blocking their attacks and she was panting when they stop. The twins also try to catch their breath. Out of the two, Itachi receives the most damage since he does mainly the defense while Hinami did the attacking.
"Wonderful! You guys amaze me that not only do you know the basic technique of the Hyuuga clans but also Hinata's Protecting Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms." Hiashi was surprised to see his grandkids sparring with Hanabi when he came to drag her back to work and he was not disappointed at all.
Since they are able to make Hanabi tire for such a short amount of time it shows that they are powerful, however, they could be much more at an earlier age if they had proper training. Hanabi realizes that it is Hiashi and knows right away the reason why he was there. She gives the kids a sorry face before heading off to work but she stops because to her surprise they both only used the Byakugan and Hyuuga techniques.
"Why did you two only use the Byakugan? You don't have the Sharingan?" She questions them. The twins look at each other then look at Hanabi as they respond simultaneously.
"We do but if we use it then you'll get hurt." Hanabi's eyebrows twitched.
"You damn cocky kids. That's definitely the Uchiha trait right there." She yells out as she walks away. The twins just look at each other confused because according to their mother, Hyuuga are also cocky too.
"Itachi and Hinami. You two are free to do whatever you want before the end of the day. Come back before the meeting which is at 7 pm and it will be here at the Hyuuga compound." Hiashi did as any grandparents will do and give them money (an unnecessarily large amount of money). As he watches them go he truly regrets not being able to watch them grow up.
As they walk to the ramen stand for lunch they could hear people gossiping and talking about them.
"Oh my! They must be mixed Hyuuga." A lady commented and someone joins her.
"I heard that the Hyuuga are strict about marriage... those kids must be a disgrace to the Hyuuga."
"Really? Cause I thought they changed that already." Some people watch them curiously and some watch in disbelief that the Hyuuga will have mixed blood. However, the majority questioned who is their parents.
"Never see them before... could they be that ex-heiress's children? We have not heard anything about her for the past 15 years." The twins could careless of what the people say because this was not their first time receiving such stares and comments. They had it worse and they are used to it by now.
