37 - I Need To

Once practice was over everyone went to the changing room to get their stuff to leave. You, Jungkook and Taehyung were one of the last people to go and get your stuff. As you walk inside you immediately feel stressed at the fact the hyunjin was still in the room.

You quickly walk over to your stuff and unzip your bag placing your water bottle and phone inside before closing it and picking it up. You freeze when you hear someone call your name from behind you.

You slowly turn around and make eye contact with him "we're gonna need to practice this dance thing" he says handing you a small piece of paper "I got a new number, call me when you're free" he says before turning around grabbing his things and leaving.

You stand there in shock with the small piece of paper in between your fingers.

The car ride home was extremely uncomfortable. But once you got home and out of the car it was all ok. You all enter the apartment and take your shoes off. You immediately go to your room and place the bag on the floor beside the door. You throw the scrunched up piece of paper on your desk and sit down in your gaming chair wondering what to do.

Ok, you can do this. Just put his number in your phone.. and call him. It's not that hard. Slowly reaching for the paper you open it up and stare at the numbers before pulling your phone out of your back pocket and opening your contacts.

You press the small plus in the top right corner and slowly begin to put his number in. You also put his name in and before pressing call you realize it would probably be easier to just text him.

You stare at your phone in amazement. Did he really just say that? How is he being so nice? You were shocked at his response but quickly shook your head and threw your phone on the bed.

What if he tries to do something to you again? What if he's just pretending to be nice to get to you? Your thoughts get interrupted by your bedroom door opening.

"Hey" you hear his sweet voice "how are you?" He asks walking inside and sitting on your bed.

You turn on your chair to look at him and smile "I'm good" you stop "thanks" you say looking down.

He gets up and walks over to you crouching down in front of you in the chair "can I go with you?" He asks and you look up at him confused

"What?"

"I want to go with you when you have your private with hyunjin, I don't want you alone with him" he says and you smile at him.

"Yea" you say as he takes your hands in his "I'd like that"

He smiles up at you and stands up towering over your small frame, he placed his hand on your chin and lifts it up so that you're looking up at him. He slowly leans down and presses his lips against yours.

"Here" Jungkook says handing you a cup of tea, you nod your head a little and take the teacup from him.

You take a sip of the tea and decide to check the time.

You gulp down the rest of the tea and stand up "I think we should go, I don't want to be late" you say and he nods his head and takes the teacup from you bringing it to the kitchen, you go to the door grabbing your bag and putting your shoes on.

Jungkook soon joins you and puts his shoes on and you both head out of the apartment and into jungkook's car.

You put your seatbelt on and he starts the car driving out of the parking lot and to the studio "are you sure you want to do this?" He suddenly asks waking you from your daydream.

You shake your head a little and look over at him, he throws you a quick glance but looks back to the road again "yes" you say looking out the window "I need to do this"

"Can I ask why? You don't owe this guy anything so why are you doing this" he suddenly adds.

"Because I need to get over him" you say and he throws a confused look at you "I mean- I'm already over him but I need to move on from what happened in my past" you quickly mumble.

He nods his head a little as you pull into the studio parking lot. You both unbuckle your seatbelts and get out of the car. You take your bag with you and Jungkook leads you to the entrance, you take a quick look around the car park to see if hyunjin'a car was there but it was nowhere to be seen. Unless he got a new car.

You both walk into the studio and throw your bag down where u usually put it.

"Do a warm up with me?" You ask connecting your phone to the speakers, he nods his head a little as you play some music.

You decide to play 'Calabria' for a nice hyped warp up. The music starts and you both start.

Once the music stopped you both take a moment to breath before you go to pause the music so another song wouldn't play.

Both of you sit down and drink some water "are you nervous?" Jungkook suddenly asks.

You look at him for a moment before looking down at the water bottle in your hands "a little" you say closing the bottle and placing it down.

"Everything will be ok, I'm here" He says making you look up at him a smile.

You suddenly hear the studio door open making you both whip your heads towards the door.

Hyunjin walks in with his phone in his hands looking down into it. Jungkook quickly scooched over to you "you know now that I think about it his face looks really punchable" he whispers in your ear making you punch his shoulder playfully.

You both chuckle a little and stand up, hyunjin reaches you and puts his phone in his pocket looking up at you, then to Jungkook "why did u bring him?" He asks raising an eyebrow.

"I had nothing better to do so I thought I'd tag along" jungkooo saves you.

"Ok" he simply says and walks past you to put his bag down beside yours.

You and Jungkook look at each other confused before following hyunjin.
