17 - Took You Long Enough

You and Yeonjun walk into the studio to practice the dance you had to do in a months time, you both put your bags down and walk to the middle of the room.

You both talk to each other about what song you were going to use, you soon agree on using the song 'say you won't let go'.

You both play the song listening to it carefully before trying to choreograph some steps. You noticed how Yeonjun was making stuff up on the spot, so you tried to follow him.

After about an hour and a half you had both come up with half the dance "what are you doing after this?" He suddenly asks as you fix your eyeliner in the mirror,

"Oh, me Taehyung and jimin have our annual movie night" you say with a little laugh,

"Ah I see" he says picking his bag up "you want me to give you a ride home?"

"That would be great" you say giving him a smile.

You both leave the studio and hop into his car, you both throw your bags into the back seat and he starts the car and drives to your apartment. Once you get there he parks in front of the door and you take your seatbelt off and grab your bag "have fun" he says to you as you open the door to leave,

"Thanks" you say getting out "I'll see you later" you smile as you shut the door and run towards the apartment door.

You walk up a few flights of stairs and put the key in the door to open it, once it opens you quickly step inside and shut the door behind you. You take your shoes and coat off and place your bag on the floor beside the door. You hear the tv already playing assuming that they had started without you.

"Hey you're finally home" Jimin says getting up to greet you, he gives you a little hug and you hug him back.

You sit down on the couch and look at the spread of sweets and treats covering the table, you quickly grab you favorite candy and rip open the bag popping one into your mouth. You lean back against the the couch and jimin sits beside you and snuggles closer to you and throws a blanket over the two of you. Taehyung picks a random movie from Netflix and you hear someone walking behind you "can I join you guys?"

"Sure" Taehyung smiles pointing to the empty couch "have a seat and treat yourself" he smiles once more.

"Thanks" he says going to sit down, he grabs another blanket and a packet of sweets as he sits down.

You roll your eyes but try to ignore him as you avert your attention back to the tv screen.

After about 4 or 5 movies you notice that jimin and Taehyung have fallen asleep, you look at them both and let out a little giggle, you slowly begin to get up trying to be as quiet as possible, you cover jimin with more of the blanket and Jungkook turns to look at you "where you going?" He whispers,

"I'm gonna head to bed, you should too, we have practice tomorrow" you remind him as you take some of the empty sweet wrappers off of the table and bring them to the bin in the kitchen.

You leave the guys in the living room as you walk into your bedroom and get ready for bed.

You wake up to the stupid sound of your alarm ringing in your ear, you slowly get up and rub your eyes a little. You get out of bed and check the time, you still have 2 and a half hours to get your ass ready and out of the house. You pick out some clothes and quickly run to the bathroom before anyone else.

You have a quick shower and do some simple makeup once again, you throw your clothes on and get your bag ready. Once you're done getting everything ready you walk to the front door and put your shoes on, you figured you didn't need a coat since it was only morning and it wasn't cold out yet. Soon enough you see Jungkook come from his room with a bag in his hand "took you long enough" you complain as you open the door and he follows you out the door and down the stairs,

"I didn't even take that long" he defends himself as you both reach the car park and you search for his car.

He then leads the way and you follow him into his black mustang, you stop for a second to admire the car before getting in and putting your seatbelt on. He starts the car and drives off.

You quickly reach the studio and you both get out and he locks the car as you both make your way into the studio, it's cold inside since you are the first ones there today, you tells you to go and wait for him inside the room while he turns the heating on.

You enter the room and toss your bag on the floor beside one of the many mirrors covering the walls, you decide to turn on some music and warm up a little before Jungkook comes back. Once he comes back he also throws his bag onto the floor and you both sit in the middle of the floor and decide on a song, you both argue back and forth but you finally agree on 'I know what you did last summer'.

He connects his phone to the speakers studio speakers and you both listen to it, this time instead of letting him lead like Yeonjun did, you start doing random moves and he tries to follow you. After a while he picks out a few things he liked from your little dance and adds a few of his own moves into the mix.

"Let's go through it once more" he tells you and you nod your head ready to dance,

He plays the music and runs back to the middle of the floor where you were waiting to start, the music starts playing and you both do the dance you had practiced until a point, you looked at Jungkook and he looks at you and nods his head a little telling you to keep going, you both improvise the rest of the dance slowly coming together at the end so that he was holding you in his arms.

The music stops and you both breath heavily trying to catch each other's breath, still holding on to each other, you slowly look up and make eye contact with him, you look into his eyes and see a small spark light up in them making you look down, you slowly start to back away but he stops you and places his hand on your check caressing it a little, you didn't dare to look into his eyes again but you knew you had too, you slowly but surely lift your eyes to look into his, he begins to lean forward and so do you, closing your eyes you feel his soft lips on yours instantly sending butterflies to your stomach. You stay like that for a minute before pulling away slowly.

He removes his hand from your soft skin and takes a step back "I-"

"We should get going" you cut him off making him look down immediately "we have to be out of here before 2" you tell him as you turn around and walk towards your bag, you pick it up and look over at jungkook's bag, you walk over to it and also pick it up.

You walk over to him and hand him his bag making him look up at you once again "come on" you softly say nudging you head towards the door indicating that you have to leave.
