"Thank you again Tylee for coming to pick me up." I said, opening my car door and beginning to walk with him up the steps of his apartment complex.

"It's no problem." He said, putting the key through the door and walking inside. As I walked in, his apartment was damn near empty.

"You just moved in?" I asked.

"Nah." He shook his head, getting comfortable on the couch. "I've been living here for about two years now."

"Oh... it's nice." I nodded, trying to be polite.

I sat down on the couch and pulled out my phone and just started scrolling through Instagram. It was a little awkward being around him because I don't know him like that and I'm still a little emotional from everything that happened earlier.

"So you and him done for good?" Tylee asked.

"Yeah I'm pretty sure we are." I nodded, continuing to scroll through insta.

"What happened between y'all?" He asked, moving in closer to me on the couch and placing his hand on my thigh.

"Nothing really." I shrugged. I didn't wanna be telling all my business.

"Come on, you can tell me." He chuckled.

"Boy you nosey as hell." I said, laughing him off.

"Damn right." He chuckled. "I'm just curious love."

"Well, basically he saw messages between me and this dude and he started jumping to conclusions."

     "So you cheated?"

"Of course not." I got defensive. "He just thought it was something that it wasn't, when really I was curving the fuck out that nigga... but he still thought I was fucking around with him."

     "Well were you?"

I heavily sighed. "To be honest... the dude he thought I was messing around with was you." I admitted.

He started busting out laughing nonstop.

"What's funny?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Why would he think that?" He asked, continuing to laugh.

"Well... Because he saw the messages of us planning to meet up to help me study and he started jumping to conclusions."

"Well I bet he gonna be hot once he find out you at my crib right now."

"Yeah I bet." I rolled my eyes.

"So do you plan on gettin' back with him?"

"Hell no! He's the one who broke up with me and kicked me out. Not to mention he didn't even give me a chance to say bye my son. It's his fault why I'm not with him right now. He even just brought a house for the three of us, but his fucking trust issues just ruins shit between us, he's always jumping to conclusions and shit." I said, rambling on. I honestly forgot I was talking to Tylee. I was more so venting to myself. "Sorry." I sighed, apologizing. "I'm just in my feelings right now. I ain't mean to say all that, you probably don't even care."

"Nah shawty I do care." He said, pulling my chin over to look at him. "But you here with me now... So fuck that nigga."

He turned my head closer to his and leaned in for a kiss. Which caught me by surprise.
