"Wake yo sleepy head ass up." Bryson said while shaking me.
I open my eyes slowly, blinded by the bright sun that beamed through the window. As soon as I get my eyes open I check the alarm clock beside me and it said 3:02pm.
"Damn." I yawned and sat up from the bed to stretch my arms. "I was up all night last night just thinking about what happened and how I could've possibly died last night. That's why I woke up so late." I said sarcastically.
"How many times you want me to apologize?" Bryson sucked his teeth and asked with an attitude.
"I forgive you..." I rolled my eyes. "Sorry for bringing it up." I sat on the edge on my bed and slipped on my slippers before heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
"Didn't yesterday I told you that I'll handle ya car?" He asked, following me to the bathroom.
"Yeah." I responded, taking my toothbrush out the toothbrush holder and wet it under the water before adding the toothpaste, then I began brushing.
"Well I handled it. It's outside waitin' for you."
"Thanks baby."
"Mhm." He hummed, going into the linen closet to grab me a washcloth to wash my face. "You finna come with me to check on my grandma?"
"Of course." I nodded, taking the washcloth out his hand and running it under hot water to begin washing my face. "You know I love your grandma."
"Ight coo'. I'll be outside waiting fo you ta get ready. Imma gon and smoke this blunt real quick."
"Alright." I stood on my tippy toes to reach his lips to give him a quick kiss.
Once he left out the bathroom, I headed for my closet to pick out an outfit. I just went with some black sweatpants and a white tee since we're only going to his grandmothers house.
I went back to the bathroom to throw my hair in a bun, then walked to the front door, slipped on my Slides then met Bryson outside as he's sitting on the apartment complex stairs smoking a blunt.
"Ready to go?" I asked, making my way to the parking lot.
He didn't even answer my question, but a big smirk was placed on his face.
"What?" I asked in complete confusion as to why he's smirking so hard at me.
"Where yo car at?" He asked, still smirked.
As I eye the parking lot I noticed that my car is no where to be found.
"I thought you said you handled my car."
"I got you a new one ma." He said, his smirk became a big smile plastered on my face.
"Really?" I smiled big. "Where?"
Bryson held my hand and led me to the parking place where he parked my new car.
"BABE!" I jumped up on him and wrapped my legs around his waist and arms around his neck. "Thank you so fucking much." I said, not breaking a smile.
Genuine happiness filled my body. No one has ever did anything for me like this.
"You like it baby?"
"I love it!"
I showered him with a million kisses. "Thank you soooo much."
"Anything for you babygirl."
