I woke up this morning in Brysons bed. I looked over at my phone that was on the nightstand to look at the time. It was almost noon.

Shit.

There's no point of me even trying to get ready for school because I'm already a hour late. I'm just gonna have to skip school today.

As I got out of bed, I noticed Bryon wasn't in bed with me anymore, but the smell of breakfast hit my nose.

Before going to the kitchen, I pee, brushed my teeth with his toothpaste that was on the sink and put some of the toothpaste on my finger to begin brushing my teeth since I didn't bring my toothbrush here because I wasn't planning on spending a night. I then went into his bathroom closet to pull out a washcloth to wash my face, then after I'm done I put it in the dirty clothes hamper that was in the corner of his room.

After doing my morning routine, I walk into the kitchen, still wearing his tee shirt that I slept in.

"Mornin'." He cheesed with his golds in his mouth.

I smiled at him. "Goodmorning."

"What time yo class start?" He asked as he hands me a plate of pancakes, eggs, and sausage.

"I missed class already." I sighed. "Food smells good."

"Preciate it." He said as he sits beside me on the couch to eat too.

"And taste good too." I said as I take a bite.

He smiled at me and grabbed the remote to turn on the news.

"Now that you ain't gon to school today, Whatchu got planned?" He asked.

I shrugged my shoulders. "I have no idea."

"You tryna make some money?"

"I'm not really in the mood to jugg either. Plus I already made enough to catch up on some bills, so now I'm just tryna chill for a while. Y'know?"

"Yeah. It's good to give ya self a break sometimes."

"Do you wanna go to your grandmothers house to check on her?"

"Nope." He said quickly.

"I know it's hard to see her like that. But wouldn't you wanna spend her last days with her?"

He simply shrugged his shoulders without responding. I didn't wanna over step my boundaries and tell him how to handle his dying grandma, but I just wanna make sure he spends as much time with her before it's too late. When my parents died it was so unexpected. I would do anything just to spend at least one more day with them. I just want him to spend some time with his grandma before it's too late because I know how it feels to miss someone.

"Want me to pour you something to drink?" I asked, changing this sensitive subject.

He nodded his head yes.

I sat my half eaten plate down on the coffee table, and then made my way to the fridge and pulled out the jug of orange juice. As I'm taking it out the fridge, I accidentally bumped the orange juice jug into the Apple juice jug which made a lot of things from the fridge fall to the floor.
