Christmas is here soon and usually I'd be thrilled but for obvious reasons, I'm nowhere near it. Well, I can't wait to get Abigail a gift but what she would like is the question yet to be answered. I sit in the band house in the living room talking about the gig were having at the end of this month but I've yet to actually speak. I can't help but think about Max and Kate's death, Valerie's court case that no one unimportant knows about, and the fact that Abigail and I are a thing now. There's also my wings that I still don't understand.

"So, Victoria. Have you came up with a nickname yet to hide your identity?" Mark asks. "Unfortunately not. Actually, there's only one that comes to mind but I think it's stupid." I reply quietly. "Let us hear it then," He says. "V," I reply. "Sounds sick. Like a true punk's secret identity." "You think the fans will like it?" I ask. "Of course they will," Jen replies, "It's the coolest name here. Plus, the fans were sorta hoping for a new drummer who's female and not male. They miss Misty but you'll do." I nod and sip from my soda. "So, about Abigail... She's not mentioned her brother at all. What actually happened?" I ask.

"You're asking too much, V." Drake wasn't new to the band, he was on a break so Rose took his place. However, Rose was still part of the group. "Sorry, I just thought I could learn something other than he's dead and his car is rotting out front," I reply, my voice quietening as I spoke. "If you don't want it rotting out front then ask Abigail if you can have it, I'm sure she'll let you." They don't know about us yet because Abby doesn't want people to learn of it yet. I'm alright with it considering my parents might be against it. "It's not right to ask for her brother's car. I'll wait for her to give me it even if she doesn't ever plan on it. Anyway, I should probably get going now. Thanks for the afternoon pizza," I say as I rise and slide on my leather jacket.

"You should add studs to your jacket to make the punk pop, y' know?" Jen says as she walks me to the door. "Maybe I will. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll see you soon, guys." I head out the door and begin to walk down the avenue of trees, music in my ears and hands in my pockets. It makes me smirk when I look to the ground and this is only because Max used to do this all the time. She'd plug in her music and walk around Blackwell with her eyes to the front of her feet and arms around herself. It was so cute watching her shrink before me when I gave her a small smile or dirty look. Even if I made a small insult or something. However, she wasn't the only one to go soft. She sometimes managed to talk me out of the usual bitchy mood I was in, bring out my soft spot. Like the time she comforted me when I was drenched in paint or the time she reassured me at the Vortex party when trying to warn me about Nathan.

I'm tapped on my left and I look to see Valerie standing with a smile and puffy eyes, I take out my music and throw my arms around her as she does it to me, holding me tight as I hold her with the same strength. "We won. They're behind bars," she whispers. "That's what I like to hear, Val. Are you getting therapy or medicine at all?" I ask as we pull away. "Therapy, no. I'm getting medicine, though. Thanks. I don't think I could've done this without you, Vic." I just smile and walk on at a snails pace. "What are you listening to?" She asks as I stick in one earphone. "Music, duh," I chuckle lightly. She takes an earphone and holds it in her right ear, smiling softly. "Cigarettes After Sex?" She asks. "Yeah. A good band. Abigail doesn't like their name."

"You know, you're real nice for a rich kid. Did something happen in Arcadia or was the storm the thing that changed you?" She asks when looking to her phone. "I guess loving someone who's now dead has changed me. I mean, I love Abigail but there was someone I met in Arcadia Bay that sorta changed how I saw life. But they're gone now, no grave or anything." "Cool. I assume losing everyone was also why you're like this. Unless Abigail is being a too good of an influence on you. Speaking of Abigail, does she know that we're hangin' out or anything about the wings?" I shake my head and lift it to face her. "I don't want her thinking I'm cheating on her or anything and I don't wanna scare her with my wings either." I reply.
