The audience are going insane over how well we played. We got more people than we had tickets but they still payed to see us. I wear a bandana as I drum so my identity can remain a secret. The air tonight was heavy and warm even though it's snowing outside. Fortunately, we had shelters set up outside with some fires. I finish us off on the crash and fire my hands in the air, breathing heavily with sweat dripping from my forehead and chin. They cheer with all their heart and now it's time we pack up. However, I can't even get off my ass. I think I'm glued to the stool now but Abigail's helping hand dragged me off after I downed a bottle of water.

"How did I do?" I ask as we go backstage with the others. "Brilliant! Far better than that guy we had! It's as if you we're a secret punk who's true to the name!" Mark replies as he pats my back. "Hey, what about me?" Rose asks with a smirk. "Where's Valerie? I thought she'd be waiting to throw ice water at us or attack us with snow," I say as I look around. "I think I saw her at one of the food trucks. Wanna go get her? Or do you wanna attack her with snow?" Abigail asks with a smile and raised brow. "Now that you mention it." I grab some snow on my way out with Abigail, smirking underneath my mask. "There she is." Abigail points to the punk standing by a food truck with that goth girl she's been talking to recently.

With a steady aim I launch the well made ball at her back in case the snow managed to become ice mid air. I laugh uncontrollably to her reaction - the most dramatic look of shock I've ever seen on someone. "Oh, it's on!" She yells before throwing on directly at my face, sending me flat on my back. I still laughed but not as much. The snow was sensational, cooling me down just a little. "You good?" Valerie stood above me and I respond with a thumbs up before picking myself up. "How's your flirting going with the goth?" I ask. "Oh my god, I've already told you. I'm not interested in her... Kinda. Fuck, you win. It's alright but I don't think she's getting the hints."

"At least you're trying. You two would be cute by the looks of it." I wrap an arm around Abigail's shoulder while she wraps one around my waist. The place was like a rave with all the food stands, shelters, fire barrels and smell of weed. Apparently that's what you get at a rave but I've never been to one. "Cool. Hey, can I ask a question about David?" I nod in response. "Is he cool with homosexuals? I feel intimidated around him and I can't help but think it's because I'm bent." "Oh, David isn't against it. He's like that all the time. He's a big softie, I promise," I reply with a reassuring tone. "Okay. Right, I'm gonna go now. Gotta take Lisa home tonight. Talk soon, V." She smiles flirtatiously at me before returning to her friend.

"What was that about?" Abigail asks. "What was what about?" I ask in return, a bit confused. "That look she gave you. Is that something she just does now to every girl she talks to or just you?" "What? Are you jealous? Come on, it's just what friends do. Well, most. Shits and giggles, you know?" She smiles and nods before taking my hands and getting close. "So, what are we doin' later?" She asks softly. "Anything you want, Misty. Maybe watch a movie. Snuggle up to eachother the whole night. Honestly, anything." I'm tapped on the shoulder and greeted by a blue haired punk who really needs to dye it again. She was tall and slim with a black jacket and jeans, a few love marks on her neck and a necklace with three bullets hanging from it.

Her face looked familiar but I can't remember where from. Perhaps I've got a concussion from Valerie's snow ball. "You're the new drummer, right? Can you sign my CD? It's for my partner. We're good fans of yours." She hands me a CD in its box and a pen. I nod and go to write my real name but pause for a moment to then write V instead. "Why do you wear a mask? Afraid of bad gasses or something?" She asks. "To hide my identity. Security reasons. On you go now. I got things to do here." "Awesome. Thank you! Max is gonna be so crazy when she sees this," she says as she walks away. Hearing that name depresses me so much. It's as if life is teasing me with her name or something. "Hey, you alright?" Abby asks gently. "Yeah, just... Reminded me of an old friend, is all."

"You'll heal over time, V. I promise. I've got a surprise for you behind the band house. Come on." She pulls me behind her with a smile, pushing pass all the fans around us until we arrived at the house. We then go behind it and I stupidly push her against the wall and start kissing her thinking her surprise was a short make-out. She pushed me off her with an incredibly shocked face, cheeks turning red quickly as her wide eyes look to my right. "What?" I ask before I look to the band staring at us with funny smiles and desperate to let out a laugh. I blush heavily as I remove myself from Abigail slowly, looking back and forth between her and them. "I... I'm sorry, I thought that... Fuck, I'm a moron." I cover my face frustratingly.

"As if we didn't know already. Quit being so embarrassed," Rose chuckles. "She's right. They would've found out one way or another. Anyway, your surprise." Abigail then hands me a set of car keys that I smile to but when I look to what the car was I was almost stunned. "No way... Are you sure you want to give me his car?" I ask. "Don't want it to rot here. He would've gave you it anyway. Andrew probably would've crushed on you too." I smile brightly and pull her in for a long kiss before giving her a loving hug. "Thank you, Abigail. It means a lot." "Hey, Rose. Why aren't we like that?" Jen asks. "We're straight, Dip Shit," Rose laughed in reply. "Let's take her for a spin. I'm choosing the music." I climb in and wave goodnight to the others before leaving.

She inserted a CD and had it a low volume, it sounded nice and very synthwave. "How does she feel?" She asks. "Great. It feels like... It's like a smooth motionless ride. No strong vibrations, quiet, even comfortable to sit in," I answer softly. "That's why Andrew loved it so much. He used to go out most nights with this car and his ex. No need to ask why, if you catch my drift." I chuckle at the thought of it, being in the seat that Andrew probably banged on. Unless he did it in the back. "So... You aren't mad that they know, are you?" I ask. "No, Victoria. I was actually gonna ask you when we should tell them. Fucking hilarious that you thought the surprise was a make-out session."

For the remainder of the night, Abigail and I stargazed in the car. Snuggled up with a thick blanket around us. She sat on my lap with her head buried in the crook of my neck, radio off to allow the silence to fill the car. It made it easier for her to sleep but I sit here staring at the double moon that sits high in the sky. One fades away suddenly, leaving the true moon to be dominant again. It feels like the night of the party, but quieter and more relaxing. It takes me back to what Max told me about Nathan. I believed her and the result of that was experiencing Jefferson's darkroom and watching him hurt Max... Poor Max. I'm so sorry that you had to go. I'll never forget you. Never.
