Ambition

Ryu's POV

"Huh?"

"You're obviously out here in the void for a reason." said Demon, "What is it?"

I looked at her then back at the sky.

"Don't you dare think about lying to me." she said

"I won't." I lied, "I just didn't feel so good."

"Feel so good about what?" she asked

"I just felt like throwing up." I replied

That's when she slapped the back of my head.

"Ow! What the-"

"And that's why you entered the void?" questioned Demon

She gave me those eyes filled with death.

"I-I uhh..."

Slowly losing focus on my soul I immediately retracted back to my body in the bathroom. I gasped realizing what had happened. I didn't want to alarm Thunder since he didn't know so I just wiped my face with a paper towel and quickly made my way back to my table.

"Ryu, you good? He didn't mean it that way." said Kishimoto

"I'm fine I'm fine." I babbled more worried about Demon

I couldn't warn Thunder since he would suspect something so I pretended like everything that happened in the last 5 seconds didn't happen.

"Anyways what does Thunder and Phoenix do lately?" asked Lydia

"Sleep like he is right now in my head." I replied as I knocked the side of my head with my pointer

I didn't want to bother him so I didn't bother even communicating with him.

"I see." I said

We finished eating and I quickly said bye to my mom before leaving but while I was walking I bumped into a girl so I slowed down time and caught her by the hips.

"Whoa sorry-"

My eyes widened when I realized this girl was wearing the same dress as Demon but when she looked up I sighed in relief realizing that it wasn't her. But when I looked at her closely I gasped and dropped her.

"H-Hannah?" I gasped

Hannah fell onto the ground and yelped but she looked up at me and gasped.

"You're the hero!" she exclaimed

Wait, this must be earth prime Hannah not Hannah I knew.

"Who's Hannah?" asked Kishimoto

"S-sorry about that I just thought you were someone else." I said as I helped her up

I quickly left but then someone grabbed my arm.

"Wait how do you know my name?" asked Hannah

I gasped and shrieked when she grabbed my arm.

"I uhh mistook you hehe, what a coincidence." I said while chuckling embarrassing

That's when my mom came out to say bye but she gasped when she saw Hannah.

"Oh my god, is your name Hannah?" she asked

"It is." replied Hannah

"I'm so sorry, you must not know us but we knew another version of you back in our earth." said my mom

"Oh really no wonder." replied Hannah

I don't remember Hannah being this pretty, usually she was just a nerd with glasses just like me. We were friends for a while until she moved to California and she suddenly cut off contact with me.
