Ryu's POV
"I think we lost them." I said
"Yea I think so too." said Aragorn as he took off my watch and gave it to me.
I grabbed my bag, good thing I was able to take it back. I tossed Aragorn his sword and handed him a new pair of clothes.
"They may track us down." said Aragorn
"I know, we need to find a place to rest." I said
We continued our journey on our horses looking for a place to rest.
"So sir, what you meant back then was that this world is divided between males and females right?" asked Aragorn
"Yea it is, kind of fucked up how they do shit." I said
"I see." said Aragorn
"So what's it looking like for the wound?" I asked
"Sir, I'm a human being. It'll take me a good two weeks before my wounds are fully healed." said Aragorn
"Oh right." I replied
I continued riding until we got to this road so we decided to take it.
"Sir, I have a question." said Aragorn, "Are you okay sir?"
I looked at him and tilted my head in confusion.
"Why?" I asked
"Demon betrayed you but you act like, it never happened." said Aragorn
When he mentioned Demon's name my heart twisted in pain and I looked away from him.
"Sorry sir, forget that I mentioned it." he said
"No it's fine, I just forgot about it at the moment. And I prefer to forget about it for now." I replied
"Alright sir." he replied
We got to this hill and there was this shed at the top of the hill. We rode our way up to the hill and I saw a woman hanging up clothes on a string. She looked up at us and her eyes widened.
"Good day to you ma'am." said Aragorn as he waved
She hesitatingly waved back but then a man appeared from behind.
"Who the hell are you?" asked the man
The man was wearing a long coat and he had a sword in his hand.
"Sorry, just passing by." I replied
"Sir..." whispered Aragorn
Aragorn pointed at something and I saw that we were surrounded by a bunch of female guards.
"Ah shit." I groaned
"We found the two fugitives and Kim." said a guard
"Get off your horses and surrender." said a guard
"Should we sir?" asked Aragorn
I looked around the guards but then something caught my eye in the tree line, it was white and there were a bunch of them. I watched as multiple white armored knights came out of the tree line, surrounding us.
"Oi Aragorn, who the hell are they?" I asked
"That's Oracle's army." said Aragorn
"You have to be shitting me..." I groaned
"Ryu Kim and Aragorn Tartal, under the command of the almighty Oracle you are sentenced to death." said a knight
Everyone around me slowly backed up and I sighed.
