Betrayal

Ryu's POV

I was inside the camp and everyone was staring at me. I had my gear off so I was just wearing normal civilian clothes but everyone else looked like they were wearing some kind of winter uniform.

"Ryu, here's some food." said Fuku

"I'm okay, don't worry about me." I replied

"Are you sure?" asked Fuku

"I'm sure." I replied

I just pulled out another cigarette and sighed as I watched the others just eat joyfully.

"These people were starving for a long time." said Pops, "I want to thank you for helping us."

"Don't mention it." I replied

I looked down and saw Killy and Cibo working on some things.

"Do you see?"

I looked at Pops but he didn't seem to be paying attention to me.

"Did you say something?" I asked

"No, all I said was that I wanted to thank you for helping us." replied Pops

"Do you see?" whispered a voice

I got up and looked around.

"See what?" I whispered

"Do you see all of this?" said the same voice

That's when I saw something, the wind began to circle around one spot and everyone slowly got up and backed up.

"Get everyone to safety." I said

"Everyone get to the tower!" yelled Pops

I pressed the button on my watch and my gear wrapped around my body. White mist began to form on the same spot and then there was a bright flash forcing me to cover my eyes. But once the bright light died down standing there was a man in white rags, he was elegant almost like someone who you wouldn't suspect would be a villain. But the one thing that I couldn't keep my eyes off was his golden mask, it looked like a human mask but it had two holes for its eyes but completely dark on the inside, it had lips and some weird designs to it.

'This must be the mask Aerin was talking about.'

"Who are you? Jesus?" I asked

"I am." he replied

I raised my eyebrow.

'Is he lying?'

"I can't seem to read his emotions, I can't even scan if he has any vital organs." said Thunder

"Look around you. These people fight for survival but have you seen any of them sin?" asked the man named Jesus

"No not really." I replied

"Exactly, every other earth you've been to you saw all of them sin against order." said the angel

I stayed silent and just crushed my cigarette.

"Okay and what are you going to do?" I asked, "Destroy every earth that's filled with sin?"

"Precisely, people here deserve peace but the others don't. No they deserve hell." said Jesus

"Your name is not Jesus is it?" I asked

He laughed and shook his head.

"Call me Oracle." he said

"Oh, okay Oracle what do you want?" he asked

"Control over the entire multiverse, I can unite all the worlds together. I can make all of us become one." he said, "Can't you see it? Such a bright future for all of us!"
