Blade 9: A Story From a Time Not Too Long Ago...

Artemis: "Chiron! How can this be...?"

Percy: "I guess it makes sense..."

Annabeth: "Who would fare battle against the Goddess Of The Hunt unless the person who fought her knew her moves and personality..."

Thalia: "And since he was adopted, then Lady Artemis didn't break her vow."

Leo: "Though I'm a bit confused on why she adopted a boy because considering her Man-hating reputation, we would've thought that she had adopted a girl..."

The Son of Hephaestus stated as everyone in the room including Artemis herself nodded in agreement.

Chiron: "I understand that you are all shocked, but to talk about Shirou, is to talk about how the machinations of fate were set in motion..."

Jason: "And how far back are we going to talk about this Shirou Demigod?"

Chiron: "Far from it, he is a clear-sighted Mortal who is presumably a Legacy of Hecate considering his mystical prowess, though I suspect that he is also a Legacy of both Ares and Hephaestus considering his talent for creating weapons and using them in battle, making him slightly more skillful in combat than Young Percy here..."

The Centaur said as his words that described Shirou shocked everyone in the room, a Legacy of three Gods was almost impossible, though it would be the only logical explanation for his skills and talents...

Chiron: "Though to answer your first question Young Jason, we must travel back to the beginning..."

Frank: "To when he was born?"

Chiron: "No, to when he was adopted by Artemis..."

He said as he took out a Drachma and a squirt bottle as he soon summoned and asked Iris for her assistance with telling the tale and origin of Shirou Emiya...

A rainbow cloud appeared and showed a picture of a burning city as a man soon searched the wreckage of this once peaceful town that has been reduced to ruins.

This scene earned gasps from everyone as they were shocked by this setting which contained so much destruction and grief, while Artemis felt as if she recognized this man who searched the ruins.

The man kept searching and pleading which made the current Demigods suspicious of this man if he is the true cause of the ruins, but none could prove such a claim, so they kept quiet and watched as the man soon saw a concentrated beam of moonlight which got him to search where the moonbeam hit.

The man located the exact place where the moonbeam reflected the debris as he got tired of the debris and found a child with Red hair and dull orange eyes...

This man would soon be introduced as Kiritsugu by Chiron, as the centaur gave a brief explanation of who he is as the footage continued...

The fog soon showed how Kiritsugu became a passionate father, the Demigods watched how the man who had an expression that showed years of agony and killing had changed into an expression filled with a gentle and warm feeling as his face showed a proud parent with every moment with his adopted son.

That soon changed...

The mystical screen soon skipped to the part where Shirou sat next to his dying adoptive father, with Kiritsugu soon taking his final breath before closing his eyes, his expression was shown that emanated a feeling of a peaceful and yet cruel man who had a chance of redemption fulfilled, as he soon changed from a heartless killer to a wise and loving parent...

The Screen continued and showed how Shirou is now alone but they soon noticed how the moon reacted to the sound of his grief...

Shirou then heard snarling and growling out of the garden's bush as he was soon attacked by two Hellhounds!
