The Night Shadow (EXO Sehun)

Chapter 20

Sehun and the sisters were on the hunt for the lost souls in the river of doom. Because Diana was able to balance her demonic and human form, they couldn't track her down, leaving Sehun and Woo Bin to become somewhat like a damsel in distress. Although Woo Bin was the strongest, he couldn't even manage to hunt or even connect his mind to Diana to haunt her.

They tried all the tactics they knew. But each of them failed. Sometimes, Sehun would be punished when Woo Bin's boiling point reached its peak. He blamed Sehun for his carelessness on taking care of Diana and even thinking that the normal Sehun was back. Sehun was also facing his own problems. He was sure that he was a night shadow, a dark angel. But his angelic side is starting to take control. The sisters knew, and they had to feed him more demonic blood to let him continue his dark side.

Sehun decided to roam around the streets, acting like a normal human. As he passed by a restaurant, he saw the person he was looking for all along. He saw Diana with Seungho, laughing and chatting happily. He knew that he should strike. But if he did it on that particular time, he might as well reveal his aura to the angels. So he decided to blew the wind, stronger than usual. Diana noticed his presence and was sure that the wind was Sehun's tricks.

As soon as Diana was at her apartment, her place was like a plane wreck. Things were scattered, her room was a mess. It was as if a tornado just passed by her crib. As she looked down, she saw trails of black sands circling her bed. She was sure that the angels were out, settling some important matter. She tried to keep her guard up because they warned her to slow down with her abilities. Sehun was in the shadow, watching her carefully.

She turned toward the mirror and saw him grinning. She tried to run but Sehun got hold of her. His hands clutched tightly towards her, making her back touch his chest. She was in the verge of crying and also in panic. She prayed and hoped that any miracle would pass by her right now.

"How are you darling? I missed you so much..." He whispered, resting his chin on her shoulders. She thought it was too early to strike him with her powers. So she muttered to him, "Get away from me demon."

"As far as I'm concerned, you yourself is a demon Diana."

"But I'm nothing like you Sehun. You work for Woo Bin." Somehow, he felt a sharp pain around his chest. He was starting to suffocate and let go of Diana. She ran to the corner and watched him kneel down to the ground, coughing and holding tightly to the bedsheets. As soon as Diana was about to move towards him, he coughed and spat out blood. It wasn't the usual red wine coloured blood. It was thicker and darker.. As if its black coloured.

"S-Sehun.. Wha.."

"I need you right now. Help me...."

No matter how much she tried to hate him because of betraying her she couldn't help but love him again. She slowly walked towards him and held his hand, trying to make him stand up. But what she thought was going to happen... Was only a daydream. Because Sehun gripped her hair and pulled her head close to him while blood was still rapidly from his mouth. His perfect white teeth now stained with red colours and she swore she was suffocating with the thick blood scent. His other hand was wrapped tightly around her throat.

"I... S-suffered bec-c-cause of you!! I-I was in p-pain b-because of y-you're d-dissssapearrance. I'll m-make sure your soul is conssuumed b-by me!! I'll kill you Diana Jung. Even if its the last thing I DO!!!"

Diana was gasping for air and tried to remove his hand from her throat. Blood was staining the floor and Sehun's chest pain was still there, burning and suffocating him. The only way for him to remove it was to feed on Diana. Just as his sharp fangs pierced into her throat, she screamed in pain and at that time too.. Her angelic blood was transferred to him and the demonic blood was moving out from her veins.

And at time, the boys arrived. They pulled Sehun away from Diana who was screaming frantically, shaking. Her eyes were shut tightly, her hands were in a ball of fist due to the burning pain and her mouth was open, gaping for air.

"What have you done to her Sehun?!" Kris asked furiously.

"I t-took her blood.. She w- wont be stable now. Or maybe... Never will."

"Hgh... He- help m-me *gasp*"

"Diana stay with me!" Luhan said, holding her hands tightly. She was groaning in pain and the angels feared that it might be
